  • Its a shame martials arts arent taken this serious in America.

  • Put the average American kid in the ring with the average Thai. I wonder how the match would go?

  • . Anyone know where this institute is located, what hours of training and how?

  • What is the name of this place

  • damn now this must the real spartan way, this stuff remembers of the movie "300"

  • how do you go about training in a proper muay thai gym? i dont mean the sort that are open commercially to loads of foreigners. also what are the chances of actually being able to train and make a living out of fighting over there ? anyone with any information on this topic would be much apreciated

  • LOOK AT THE APPERENT AGE OF THE CAMP MEMBERS MOSTLY 11 AND 12 YEAR OLD BOYS LEARN THE SKILL TO BECOME FEEMUR LEVEL FIGHTERS.

LOOK AT THE USE OF THE KNEE CAP AS A BLOCKING DEVICE NOT THE SHIN!!

I KNOW IT TAKES FIVE YEARS TO DEVELOPE THE MAJORITY OF SKILLS NEEDED TO BECOME A HIGH CLASS FIGHTER FEEMUR STYLE FIGHTER.

THE WORLD MUST START CULTIVATING VERY YOUNG FIGHTERS OR THERE JUST IN NOT ENOUGH TIME IN LIFE TO BECOME A FULLY SKILLED THAI FIGHTER OF FEEMUR QUALITY.

  • Cool video, very extensive, many thanks! Do you have the rest? I noticed that it's 2 of 5?

  • @duncansturner101 yeah, look on the right or check out all the videos

  • Awsome Training. Muay thai makes tkd look like Shit.

  • Man that guy at 1:55-2:20 made my knees hurt just watching.. Imagine how your ribs would feel! hahaha

  • man you like to see hard training.especially when your not the one sweating...

  • Hello, we were filming for Jar Tui last March2007..Wat a place. Fantastic people..

Ronnie Green is making a film about Muay Thai, our footage of Jar Tui's camp will be included...Watch this space!

  • What if those heavy bags actually feel pain and we just don't know it. I'm not sure I can live with that.

  • i know i feel pain and it hurt me to watch...

  • your not alone...I can imagine bones breaking if i tried that myself.

  • I am sure they could get a job, they aren't shy about doing manual labor. But you want to talk about a dirt poor country, Thailand is one of the worst. One reason they have the highest per capita of Aids because of girls going into prostitution as young as 11. I wouldn't be suprised if the parents sold them into that type of life. It's disgusting, but that is the unfortunate side of life, the Thai people like most are good natured people at heart. That said, that guy throws some CRAZY knee's!

  • really i have to say i agree i leave in thailand since 3 years and this people is 1 of the most hipocrite people i ever meet in my life , they really lazy not just that, is the sistem is completed shit

  • I wonder, given the chance, would a Thai person want to trade places with me and live in New York City, instead of Thailand?

  • if they could get a job, i guess so

  • In a second mate if u would financially support them over there. Heck, i'll trade if u want and you can do my job in the Navy :-)

  • oldmanbadger, thats a normal tecknik is trained in all the wellknown gyms in Bangkok, Even You didnt see it in "happy-foreigner-holiday-gym"in Phuket hahahaha

  • too underweight... no power...

  • that kids can kill hehe!!

  • that first guys knees on the bag were great- ive trained a few times in thailand and ive not seen knees like that before. But it is very cheap to train in thailand. Spend a year there you need about 10 k usd. That is cheap.

  • You must have been training in some shitty gyms if you've never seen knees like that. Let me guess, you were somewhere down south like Phuket?

  • oh, I see. you wanna come on here and make some constructive comments... ive trained at gyms in phuket and bangkok, also some top gyms in UK and Holland. Where 've you trained then, oh learned Nak Muay?

  • Haha Phuket, what a surprise. I've trained at Kaewsamrit and Eminent Air in Bangkok, and I saw far better knees at both gyms. Ditch the tourist gyms and you will too.

  • Then you will know of Kieran Keddle Kaewsamrit, wmto world champ...who i trained with for years. Mate, ive cornered at a world title fight in Morocco and been ringside at countless others.I know good knees-of course you saw better at Kaewsamrit, its Kaewsamrit. As for Phuket they have lots of good gyms there, you couldve got that phuket info by cliccking onmy profile

  • haha kaewsamrit and eminent air have heaps of farangs....come to north thailand

  • Nuk Muay Thay - fierse like a lion gentle like a lamb : )

  • 300 sit ups after all that training! This is unbelievable.

  • i reckon... if some1 gets into a fight in the streets of thailand, he'll be in deepshit!!! send the little guy to challenge kimbo.i'm sure hell mess kimbo purty bad

  • I'd love to train with these guys some of those kids look much better than me :) lol

  • You can. There are a bunch of camps in Thailand with all good living accomodations.

    w w w.muaythailand.c o m/camps/

Average training there is 2.5 hours though and its very hot and humid, plus not cheap, but its definitely worth that money.

  • Cool thanks. My club does annual trips to thailand. I hope we can go and visit one of these camps next year

  • Is a fukn rip off and have to disagree about value for money mate considering what average worker makes etc and even when u compare to he west. Nothing personal in that comment but thats my opinion. Training is ok but its long, monotonous and really nothing more than hard work after u learn the basics. They don't really teach much becoz they just sorta' pick it up thru experience. Alot of their punching technique is pretty average as well but is cool its full time.

  • Watching this, no matter how many good European Thai Boxers I see, the Thai just make it look so easy and correct.

The guy in the beginning of the vid with the dark blue shorts has a nasty round house kick. Even the really young kids just execute the art with beautiful form.

    Great stuff!

  • This looks koat gaa.

  • These guys are frickin hardcore. I would like to train with em

  • Which camp is this?

  • Jar Tui in Kok Moo. I wouldn't recommmend training there coz its a fucking mean place. By that i mean its really run-down and all the bags etc have had it; plus they make u wash using water from the klongs (river) which is basically sewerage after training. was an experience tho-lol!

  • i thought this was Keatkhamtorn gym???

  • It's definately Jar Tui. My trainer who is in the start of the video is sitting right next to me now plus i trained there a few times and i'm going for a look and take some photo's next week.
