By adding a lot of heat, you're going to cause the displacement of heat, (or lack there of) to ripple all over the place, and behave irregularly.

That's why climate change and global warming are two separate terms. Global warming refers to the total amount of heat in the world going up.

Climate change refers to the regional effect of that added heat.

Well, if you want to be technical.

Global Warming, refers to an increase in the earth's budget of infrared radiation (i.e. Heat).

Climate Change, refers to the specific regional outcomes of Global Warming.

Either way you play it out though, it doesn't mean that every place on earth, at every time is warming.

Reality isn't that simplistic.

Especially when multiple factors are at play.
