  • My god, why is it so noisy ? vibration ? you should seriously start by taping the shaft with electrical tape to isolate the vibrating sound ..no ? can you imagine a generator in your house that permanantly do an horrible sound like that lol ...So in the end is it a overunity devices that's worth it or it's the kind of shit that you can barely light a bulb with the free energy ? what are the general ratio ?

  • idea: Put the magnet in a sealed cylinder of oil to remove friction and nasty sound.

  • What happens when you replace the Rodin wrapped coil with a "normal" wrapped coil?

What voltage and current do you get then?

  • Good question - exactly what I want to test as well, and we will do that test at some point. Eventually I'll have a series of videos on the generator configurations. Give me some time for that one though!

  • " BTW the Bedini coil has about 1200 feet of wire, and the Rodin Coil has about 210 feet of wire."

hmm, so how do they relate?

  • Unfortunately I'm not entirely certain, as I'm not an electronics expert and my bedini circuit was mostly from found parts. What I do keep noticing about the Rodin Coil is that, for a very short amount of wire, it has some VERY strong effects. They're not wrong when they claim greater efficiency for less material cost.

  • cool test, sis the 7 volt carry any amps???and if so does it slow the magnet down...

    great job

    5stars

  • hi crob - in my generator testing I was able to get her up to 9 volts at 100mA. This had a small effect on the magnet - noticable, but small. Makes me want a rotor with diametric cylinder magnets and some more coils...

I discovered something else July 17th while testing configurations for this, and am taking video today & tomorrow for everyone to see. Like much of what I'm seeing, it quite surprised me. Again!

    Thanks!

  • Have you compared the stytrofoam core "Rodin" with the "Fischer Price" core "Rodin"?

  • Haven't had a chance yet, but eventually would like to compare the cores, the winding styles, and then everything against a "standard toroid" with spring-type windings.

  • Nice setup

  • thank you JB - it was mostly scavenged parts, but is simple and effective!
