Again another PSA that doesn't even show the dangers of speeding.. Speed wasn't the factor that caused the accident. The driver jerking the wheel did.. even if he was doing the speed limit still would have final destinationed all over everyones ass.. Plus I would put more blame to the person in front of him who was probably obstructing traffic in the first place.

This accident could happen at or even under the speed limit. Research by the Dept of Transport in the UK said that speed is the cause of less 5% of road accidents. Tailgating and stupidity was the cause of this accident and tailgating causes even more accidents than drink driving and speeding combined. The penalty for this lethal form of driving is NOTHING. The RSA should cop on and clamp down

They made the worst possible outcome of a car crash. Think about it people:

1.) guy tries passing and swerves out of control after a dog runs in front of him

2.) Other car loses control and flips several times before crashing into a couple where the girl has her dead boyfriend pressed up against her from the crushing impact of the car and the other car drivers is screaming in agony.

I find it's so important to present the dangers of speeding in a way that removes them entirely from the realm of possibility. Had they depicted a scenario that conforms to standard definitions of feasibility, I suspect they'd have found the end result to lack the entertainment value so crucial to capturing the attention of Western audiences.

Feasibility? This IS what happens when people get in car wrecks. There is screaming and blood. (Sometimes.) I admit it's one of the scariest PSAs I've ever seen, but I'd rather see it and be reminded to watch my speed, and maybe cut down on my chances of ever really being in that situation. And it's a lot better than the kind of PSA that just makes you laugh at how corny it is.

Screaming and blood--fine. What I have an issue with is everything else: Beautiful sunny day, two lovers kissing by a meadow as a white stallion gallops behind them, the woman and her child who happen to be on the side of the road to witness the gruesome spectacle (even though they're in the middle of nowhere), the creepy elderly onlooker, etc. The point is, since so many people speed and get away clean, it's very hard to imagine something as extreme as this ever happening to them.

All I'm saying is that the best PSAs are the ones that are honest and relatable. The best I've seen is the anti-pot one where the message was essentially 'smoking weed won't necessarily destroy your life, but you might end up a boring loser who lives in his parents basement.'
