@TheNerdunderground What bikes? You can convert any bike to fixed. Even your mtb. That would kill the gayish sound it makes when you shift the gears + you wouldn't be able to gayishly bail out and shift to a lower gear when going uphill.

I Got an brakeless fixie since 4 days now and I have to say I love it, sure it aint has the acceleration top speed and braking of an high end xc or race bike. However it's just damn addictive and most ppl that either don't like cycling so much or never try it will never understand what so fun of riding a brakeles fixie.

Man, what's the gear ratio you're riding? I have 46-tooth front cog and 17-tooth rear cog which makes about 73 gear inches an I just can't skid no matter how I try.
