  • These losers would rather scream and dance around like retards than engage in constructive discussion. Truly pathetic trust fund "hippies."

  • idiots

  • Someone feed her a cupcake

  • The reason why the IDF stands for the Isreali Defense Forces is because it defends, protects it's citizens - not attacks. That's the job of the people who gave the army its job. I remember a family. Wife and children were stabbed to death by palestinians. the father alone was left to tell the tale. He was at work that day...he never saw his family again. why are there countless similar stories?? that's not to say all palistians are animals.but they are not the "victims" u portray in this video

  • Disgusting Leftist losers.

  • God Bless Israel.

Moos slums are the scourge of the planet.

The Left does not want duologue.

The Progressive argument is always just "Shut Up!"

  • What a dumb Jew that can't state last week's Torah portion.lol.

  • Yay free palestine! lets support the people who cheered after 9/11!

They must be so thankful for us supporting them!

  • Anti-Israel activists deny free speech...well at least you guys take a cue from real palestinian leaders who stifle freedom of expression in palestine.

Particularly ironic is the queer speaker at 1:53, who would certainly get lynched in the "occupied" territories, rather than attend a gay pride parade in tel-aviv.

  • this is absolutely disgusting.

  • @Li0rE I see a bunch of college kids taking a stand against occupation, illegal settlements and human rights violations. What could be so disgusting about that?

  • Wow you sick fucks. Keep pretending this is Palestinian land, what you're really trying to do is steal the Jews' homeland. Jews have consistently been trying to return to Israel since antiquity, only to be massacred on that land by so many different groups. Read the real history, not the fantasy history and you'll see that.

  • @danielb4201 Where would we find this "real history"? I hope your not referring to the Bible as history, because it is the only book that says there ever was a land of Israel before 1948.

  • every single day palestinian rockets fired from Gaza fall on the cities of Ashdod, Ashqelon and Sderot wounding and killing INNOCENT Israeli men, women and children. They live in constant fear. During the latest mission in Gaza, the IDF ACCIDENTALLY killed innocent Palestinian children, but it is clear that they were not the intended targets. Terrorists hide out in areas with innocent people so that Israel occasionally kills civilians accidentally. Make no mistake about it- ISRAEL WANTS PEACE.

  • @mcmistergoo You are seriously distorting facts here. There are not rockets fire everyday at Israel from Gaza, which is very easy to prove by visiting the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. Also, most fall harmlessly in open fields. You are parroting information that is easily proven to be false, i.e., "terrorist hide out in areas with civilians". This was proven NOT to be the case in most instances by Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, UNHRC, The Red Cross, ect...

  • @mcmistergoo Was it a mistake when they decided to drop white phosphorus on densely populated areas, including hospitals and schools? This kind of munition is illegal for use on humans and is only approved for use when creating a smoke screen in wide open areas, of which there are none in Gaza! "Israel wants peace"? How so? By building illegal settlements and oppressing people? Sounds like peace to me!

  • @steute2011 No, it was on Purpose. Israel could have used the regular shells - But note that ordinary shells tend to penetrate through ceilings and walls, and scatter metal shrapnel that can kill people within a radius of 150 meters, while phosphorus shells exploding at high altitudes and spread soft (but hot) shards that cause burns only to those outside the houses (ie terrorists who fire rockets from between the houses)..

Israel could have also carpet-bomb them like USA or UK would have done..

  • @Odedisra My friend it's still illegal to use these munitions in densely populated areas, even on combatants. You are 100% correct, wherein the US / UK would have probably flattened the entire Gaza Strip. You know as well as I do, that the US and Israel have the same play book. That's why the US and UK governments never condemn Israels actions. The US calls the illegal settlements "illegitimate", as if they were talking about a child born out of wedlock. I will write you later.

  • @steute2011 Sorry my friend, if Israel had the same "play-book" like US&UK then in the Gaza War you wouldn't have JUST ~1,000 deaths (mostly terrorists), you'd have ~150,000 deaths (mostly civilians) like in the Iraq War (see "Iraq Body Count project"). The fact that Israel killed less than 1% of the number of people killed in Iraq - Despite the fact that its own citizens were under Direct rocket attacks - puts it in a different Library.

Launching Sites aren't "Civilian Areas" wherever they are.

  • @Odedisra Not that it makes a difference, but the number of casualties in Gaza was 1400, of which 709 were Hamas fighters and the remaining were civilians. These numbers are consistent in all the HR reports that have been published. What my country did and is doing in Iraq is disgusting and makes what Israel did and is doing look humane for sure...No argument there. I would only ask, does that make it right?

  • @steute2011 I wouldn't be too sure 'cause the Arabs are always exaggerating the numbers of civilian casualties for propaganda (and HR reports are very much depended on them) but even if it really was ~1400 it would still be less than 1% of the casualties in Iraq (BTW, the exaggerated numbers for Iraq are ~600,000) and would still be in a different book - and even a different library - than the American one (but don't feel too bad about it - Sadam in his ruling days killed at least 2 mullion;))..

  • @Odedisra I don't lend much credence to propaganda from either side. With regard to the numbers, they are consistent throughout most of the HR reports generated by Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, the Red Cross, Doctors without Borders and B'Tselem<(they quoted 1387 total, of which 773 non-combatant). My reason for the correction on the figures was only to stress the combatant to civilian kill ratio. Not that the US is any better. What do you think about this situation with Turkey?

  • @steute2011 Don't be naive my friend. "Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, etc" who work in the Palestinian territories are mostly manned by Palestinians - and even Internationally, those org's are manned by "leftists" who are strongly influenced by the myth of the "noble savage" and who are extremely prejudice&bias about Israel... Even those Israeli workers for HR org's are usually communists, anarchists and other kinds of confused hippies who make good career out of slandering Israel..

  • @Odedisra I must say I am shocked by this statement coming from my brilliant play cousin:) These are internationally recognized and respected human rights organizations. They have done a ton of work and reported on events all over the world. Does this mean that all of the reports done by these org's on the abuses by Islamic states should also be disregarded? Do Palestinians also man these org's in Gaza? I doubt that, because they have all reported on the Hamas violations in great detail.

  • @steute2011 Are you familiar with the old cliche about the "boy who cried wolf"? If you are criticized by one person and you say, well he just doesn't like me, fine some people will believe you. If you are criticized again by someone different and you say, well he doesn't like me either, still some people will believe you. Now, if you continue to be criticized by different people on different occasions, then it may be time to take a closer look at your behavior. At least that's what I think?

  • @steute2011 Is this the impression I gave - of someone who is dogmatic, refrained from self-criticism, and is satisfied by comforting himself in the face of external criticism?

    I really hope I'm not - and I don't think I am..

I live here in the reality of my country and the ME, I can see what is happening here - and I also can see what you see from there (I watch CNN, Sky, BBC etc, and I even read shit in the Guardian). I don't blame people like you for criticizing - you just don't know enough..

  • @steute2011 It's not just me saying so - its the very founder of Human Rights Watch. I hope that you won't suspect him for being ignorant or bias in regard to his org' or any other HR org's...

Google: "OP-ED CONTRIBUTOR - Rights Watchdog, Lost in the Mideast - by ROBERT L. BERNSTEIN"

Google: "The founder of Human Rights Watch criticized his own group for anti-Israel bias."

BTW, "Amnesty International" reported that only 92 of those killed in Gaza were fighters - and even Hams admits its 700..;)

  • @Odedisra Here you lend credence to the old cliche I just described, as you were able to discredit 2 out of 5. So am I to believe that the other 3 are bias as well? You are way too smart for this tactic.

  • @steute2011 Few days before that flotilla shit happened, I wrote a 2 articles on the web, in Hebrew, saying how stupid Bibi and Barak would be too fall into the propaganda trap prepared by the organizers of the flotilla.. I said that despite the fact that Israel has full legal justification to stop the flotilla - the smartest thing to do is to ignore and let it pass.. Today came out the report that confirms I was right.. Israel has no one to Apologize to (surely not the Turks) but to itself..

  • @Odedisra This is were I defend Israel, yes me...If they wanted just to get the aid to Gaza, they could have done it trough Israel. If you are stupid enough to run a naval blockade, then you probably deserve to be beat down. I don't know about being shot execution stye, but you know? I do believe Israel is justified in the blockade to stop weapons from entering Gaza, but I do think they could simply apologize for the excessive force, i.e., executions. If it means not having one more enemy?

  • @steute2011 My dear friend! As far as I heard, executions are usually done by a group of soldiers who are shooting at some handcuffed&blindfolded guy - I never heard of a case where executed guys are allowed to run free in large groups and to pound the executioners with iron bars; stab them with knives; And even shoot a couple of them with guns..;)

Even the term "excessive force" is a bit dubious in such case - and apologizing for that would be a harsh enough punishment for Bibi the baboon..;)

  • @Odedisra I read some of the findings in Haaretz today and I could just hear Lieberman..."I told you, fuck the Turks"! How did you guys end up with a club bouncer for an FM? Jews are much to classy to have this guy as a mouth piece. Him and diplomacy are like old ladies and mini skirts. Did you get the visual? He looks evil and he always appears to be frothing at the mouth. I hope your not a big fan of his:<

  • @steute2011 Here is the name of one of those Mini-Articles in Hebrew - maybe you can google it and ask your Father-in-law to translate it for you 'cause the Google translate can't handle it:

" הפארסה הגדולה מתקרבת... תחזיקו חזק!!!"

  • @Odedisra Wow, that Google is truly amazing! I was able to just copy and paste your title into the search feature when and when the results come up, all you have to do is hit the translate button and walla! I must say you are one articulate fella. I was a little taken aback by your closing statement..." We wanted to create a generation of "new Jews" independent and proud, and we got to "Bbonzim" - a cross between a baboon and chimpanzee ..." That's pretty rough. What did you mean by that?

  • @steute2011 LOL! I was talking about Bibi and Barak acting like apes - All muscle and no brain...

(I'm not sure how much Google translate made of it - but thanks for the compliments... I really have to go now, but I'll be back in about 14 hours if all goes well - so have a good night till then).

    לילה טוב!:)

  • @steute2011 Anyway, all these talks about "illegal" are futile in the context of the Arab-Israeli conflict as it is.. There's no Legal Technicality in the world that would make Israelis stop defending their lives - And, as Goldstone remarked recently, you can't expect one party to fully comply with international law, while the other side is not committed to it at all; violates it systematically; and is only cynically using it to gain leverage in its effort to harm civilians on the other side..

  • @Odedisra I understand that Israel is fighting an unconventional enemy, but I can not accept the premise that if one side commits war crimes, then the other should be allowed to follow suit. Since we proclaim to be nations of who believe in the rule of law and point to others barbaric terrorists, then we must always act in ways that reflect our principles. If we don't, then are we not just like them?

  • Comment removed

  • @steute2011 I understand your point - though it's easier said in the US than done in the ME..;)

For now we're not "like them" 'cause we don't try to kill civilians on purpose..But lats say Israel did become "like them" - will the world's critics let us off the hook then, just like they never care about what the Arabs do? I mean, what's the point of being haled to "higher standards" if at the end of the day Israel is being Totally Demonized while the Arabs get to walk with "unconventional enemy"?

  • @Odedisra I would rather see Israel re-occupy Gaza (with a military objective), i.e., completely take out Hamas from the ground...NO bombing! Let me ask you a hypothetical question, If Hamas bombed a civilian building, which was home to 50 people and amongst those 50 people lives 1 IDF commander. The bomb kills 10 woman & 10 children and 1 IDF commander. Is that an act of terrorism?

  • @steute2011

    1) Here's the problem: if Israel re-occupy Gaza it will be demonized for occupying&suppressing the Palestinians -just like it's being demonized in the West Bank. And, if Israel will pull-out of the WB then the rockets will soon start flying from there to Tel-Aviv -and Israel will have no choice but to bomb WB too..

    2) If that "IDF commander" is some elusive war criminal who is involved in a systematical murder of Palestinian civilians - then I wouldn't call it "act of terrorism"..

  • You hold signs for the Palestinian children who have been killed by Israeli soldiers who were protecting their soil from Palestinian terrorists, many of whom were using the children as shields, and many who have wielded guns themselves. However, what about the Israeli children who were killed by the Palestinian terrorists, who were deliberately targeting women and children CIVILIANS.

How can you take the side of terrorists targeting civilians and not the side of soldiers targeting terrorists?

  • it is so sad there are self hating Jews who are so naive that they actually believe that Palestinians want peace..

Hamas is the sworn enemy of Israel and I would challenge any Jewish Left wing Peacenik to step into Gaza and proclaim they are Jewish.

It would take only moments for their bodies to be lynched and their heads sliced off.

    Shame on you scum.

  • justice and truth will always prevail.... Excellent work from everyone

  • this video is just a disgrace. SGT Benjamin Anthony is an amazing speaker. he speaks the truth. all you that hate israel and us jews should just burn.

  • i have friends and family members who were stomped on by fascist cops during the free speech rallies at berkeley in the 60s

you are exactly like those fascist cops...stomping on another person's free speech rights

you should all be ashamed of yourselves

  • Israel won that fight, which is how they acquired the extra land. Since then, Israel has been relinquishing land for peace all of the time (Sinai Desert, Oslo, Gaza…). This is an amazing act, considering that there are over 50 Muslim countries in the world and Israel is the only Jewish one.

You all need to research and forge your opinions on facts, not by lies that are shouted at you through ignorance.

  • The other problem is that when Israel was created legally in 1947 by the UN, there was a Palestinian state as well. The borders were drawn by a commission based on how the population of Jews and Muslims was spread out across the land. It is strange how the Jews accepted this two state solution, while the Arabs rejected it and fought Israel the next day.

  • I find it odd how the people here could claim that the Jews have no right to control Israel when they have almost every single kind of right to live there. That begins with the right to live there solely because they have been living there since the biblical periods and there is proof that there was a Jewish control there way before the Muslim religion even was born. There has been a continued Jewish presence in that area for over 400 years.

  • This audience would have been much better served (and more able to hear the message of the Students for Justice in Palestine) if the soldier's talk could have been discredited through his own arrogance -- and discussions &questions at the end . Instead, because the group was disrespectful, whistling, screaming, etc., dialogue did not occur. Would you all behave this way if an American soldier came to campus to describe his experiences? The U.S. commits atrocities, but you'd still let him talk.

  • Excuse me, but do you have to prove you're a practicing Jew to have someone in your family die in the Holocaust? There are MANY secular Jews; are their voices not valid as authentic Jews? That's the most condescending bullshit I've ever heard. Right on, Lyla. That man had no right to say something so dismissive of your history.

  • @MountStEllyn

lol you just missed the point!

Lyla used an ad hominem fallacy ie using her identity as a point of validity for the premise of never again. He is neither attacking secular jews nor her peculiar history. Because Jews often identify themselves along multiple intersecting lines (either religious, ethnic, etc) he questioned her stance of validity using the religious method.

  • @the10thchair I don't see how this is worthy of an "lol." I don't find it funny at all. Also, how does knowing a Torah passage prove her "validity"?

  • @MountStEllyn hey bud...even non practicing jews in israel know what the parsha of the week is

what the soldier was pointing out, is that the only thing that makes this woman jewish is an accident of birth

she wouldve made a great capo in the camps...pushing her family right into the ovens

  • @brabon1 Your comment about the Holocaust is extremely offensive, and you should be ashamed. People like Lyla stand up against all forms of oppression; I have only met her a few times, but she is a very concerned and sensitive individual. Saying that she would commit such a monstrous act is completely ignorant and disturbing.

  • @MountStEllyn ok...im rewatching the vid now, and going to the parts where this socalled "sensitive" individual speaks...looking at her smiling about confronting the enemy, and how intense it was

she is the one who compares the occupation with 11 million people being slaughtered by the nazis

so you are right...she wouldnt have been a capo...she wouldve been in the ss and personally dropped the zyklon b

  • @MountStEllyn please...have the cross eyed slag get on youtube and defend her comparison of the holocaust to the occupation....i would enjoy reading that

bet she gets all her facts from capo norman finkledick

  • i have noticed that most females who hate israel are fat, ugly and very manly

i do believe that they are jealous of the most beautiful women in the world....the sabra

  • @brabon1 Keep leaving comment after comment to me. You are doing a great job of showing how insane and irrational you are.

  • @MountStEllyn lett you a comment 3 weeks ago in respone to your comment to me...you tool

will you and lyla stand up against the oppression that murdered the ism terrorist loving bastard in gaza today?

of course you wont...cuz he was killed by the terrorist bastards that you love

    go get bent

  • Keep going! You all our making me so proud....and giving 1000s of people hope. Never never stop!

  • @causeandeffectable, Firstly, I still want a resource for what you are rambling on and on about.Secondly, I am begging you, please please please give me a video of the people in Jenin falling out of the coffins &climbing back in it,will you? I lived there, and I saw none of that,I saw the destruction with my own eyes.Second, If wt your talking about is true, am not justifying it, but in the same time, would you care to explain Qana1&2 ?Kufur Qasem,Dier Yasin? Israel's support in Sabra&shatilla?

  • @causeandeffectable,Being holocaust victims doesnt justify israel's attack on the palestinians, as a precaution so it never happens again, the Palestinians did not commit those crimes against Israelis, and they shouldn't be punished for it, or treated as they were its cause. Israel is a terrorist state, which continues its blockade over Gaza's people, not on Hamas, the people who are suffering, not the government, the people who are killed, refused the right to move, get treated, live their lives

  • @causeandeffectable, and just so you know, am against any kind of prosecution against any nation, was it the Jews, the Arabs, Africans, everybody... and I would never justify it, and would never try to. So if you say that those people were prosecuted, and can prove it, I would not defend that, and would agree that those are crimes against humanity. In the same time you have to admit what the Israeli Army is doing is even worse than any arab nation did to the jews.

  • @causeandeffectable, If you wana go into the prosecution of jews in arab countries, we can go into Israel's even worse cases of massacres and atrocities committed towards arabs, EX/ Dier Yasin, Kufr Qasem, Qana 1 , Qana 2, Gaza, Jenin, Ramallah 2002 where a few people I knew very well were executed by the "Honorable" Israeli army, shot in the head, organs extracted out of them, and returned to their families after months of pleading and protesting.

  • @causeandeffectable Beleive me am no supporter of Bshara as a person, but he is part of the Arab citizens of Israel who are subject to rasicm, etc. Especially by people like the Israeli official Avigdor Liberman, who is a fascist. They are being prosecuted indirectly, 12 Israeli-Arab citizens were killed in 2000 and no one was held accountable in Israel for those murders. Just like any other massacers commited by Israel upon the Palestinians, weather it was before 1948 or after it.

  • @causeandeffectable

Exactly, Bshara did that, same as the Arab Jews did, and so they were stripped from their citizenship as a result of moving to a terrorist enemy country such as Israel. Please do not just talk without proofs, give me sources, credible ones, of those numbers, of people being kicked out or ethnically cleansed.. I still know Arab Jews who still live in their countries, and they are not being harrased or anything like that, stop trying to deceive the people.

  • @causeandeffectable

I'd like to get a neutral resource for that please ... besides, I know Jew arabs, who just went by themselves to Israel, and got stripped from their nationalities because they've been to an enemy country, which Israel does to any Arab Israeli who visits Syria, Lebanon, etc .. you want an example , Dr.Azmi Bshara !!

  • @eshvartz: Well, here's a definition of ethnic cleansing: "the mass expulsion or killing of members of an unwanted ethnic or religious group in a society." Is that one not okay? The International Court of Law defines ethnic cleansing as: "the forced deportation of a population." What's more, the ICJ sees ethnic cleansing as a crime against humanity and connected to certain war crimes. Without delving into a history lesson, let's start with a commonly accepted date for these definitions: 1948.

  • What ethnic cleansing?? It amazes me, time and time again, how pro palestinians use over and over the same explosive slogans without actual facts and understanding what really goes on here.

If any of you can show me actual proof of a so called "ethnic cleansing" I will denounce all relations to Israel my beloved homeland.

Wonder why pro pals. are always such a loud crowd, full of screams, dis-organization and they always perform some sort of agressive/menacing action,a big or small one. mob!

  • @eshvartz ,what fact more than the organized expulsion and killings of Palestinians in 1948 from their homelands, who count today more than 6 million Palestinians who live in refugee camps, without the basic needs any human being requires to lead a normal life.Do not tell me they are not suffering because I am one,I have trouble everywhere I go because I have no country, or a town, I lived in a refugee camp my whole life, and I know the suffering people go through everyday of their miserable lives.

  • @samednakhla 1. I grew up near 4 r.camps I know them first hand, The land must be shared:

I hope we get to a 2 state solution (not including the division of Jerusalem).

Plz tell me what connection do pals. have to Jerusalem? did they build it? is it the city of David or the city of Muhammad?

    p.s.,

Compare the W. bank to Gaza. perfect example that living beside us peacefully, striving for peace and prosperity will give you just that. daily harassing us with missiles will give you the opposite

  • (4) Also, maybe the inability to listen was a shortcoming on the protesters' "front." Before anyone passes judgment, especially on lives that are so vastly different, we should examine ourselves and attempt to come from a place of compassion and respect.

  • @TheKallie88 What if neo-nazis came on to your campus in an effort to normalize their white supremacist movement? Would you want to come to an understanding or a compromise with them knowing that they are social Darwinists? A more topical example... What if Mubarak sent a cop to speak on American college campuses about how Mubarak's regime represented democracy and peace for Egyptians? Sometimes governments are so blatantly evil, that they shouldn't be given space to normalize themselves.

  • (3) But, that takes much more courage, as people would recognize the same issues or struggles in themselves/their own lives.

I think it's particularly interesting in the quote, "We had to leave. We just couldn't listen to him anymore." First, I don't think there was much active listening throughout the entire presentation.

  • (2)"Peace cannot be achieved through violence, it can only be attained through understanding." (Emerson)I do not consider the format of this protest violence, but I certainly do not perceive this as understanding-or, for that matter, attempting to understand. No one has the same experience as this soldier. Maybe if people took the time to listen, it could help explore the true root of the problem.

  • My comment has gone over, so I will post it into a few pieces.

    (1)

I really think Hampshire is a beautiful place. Seeing people's passion can be inspiring. However, there are moments where I feel shame to be associated with the institution because of the way my peers execute their opinions and feelings. I can appreciate the awareness, but how does one expect to be listened to or make an impact if they don't respect the other party?

  • This is disgraceful! The liberal left has defended the rights of American Nazis. At least let someone speak and then disagree with him if you have any good arguments. Silencing the opposition means you lack persuasiveness.

  • SHAME pallywoods lobby & SHAME hamaSScum !

GOD BLESS ISRAEL & IDF !

  • GOD BLESS ISRAEL & IDF, Holy Land Defenders !

  • 8:04

"One of the most significant [highlights of the evening] was when he[Sgt. Benjamin Anthony] announced that he could no longer continue. I think that was a huge success on our part. The success on the part of the disruptors and the power of the opposition of the room."

This is absolutely disgusting. In this situation, the Hampshire SJP resorted to the silencing of oppositional speech and considers that a success. Essentially, this is blatant academic thuggery and hooliganism. Proud days.

  • You ask others to fight injustice with knowledge, yet you won't listen to the other side, which is a significant task in order to gain knowledge. Sousielicious says "And so you can shut them up"? Well, in order to become aware and enlightened on the matter at hand you should listen to those you deem your enemy, no matter how greatly you disagree with them and/or their ideals. Also, great use of editing and splicing. Unless you were there, this video shows absolutely nothing.

  • The photo in the video of people at the front taking photos is a photo of myself and my fellow organizer. We took pictures solely of the crowd to send those photos as part of a report to our sponsors. The account of Sgt. Anthony's talk in this video is misleading. A professor took full notes and wrote up an entire report of the event, which is more clear than anything this video presents. Look for To Find the Principles.

  • I organized this event. The content in the video is false and misleading. Sgt. Anthony had two guards, not four. These guards had no part in escorting anyone out. They stayed at the front, near Sgt. Anthony the entire time. Recording was prohibited by the crowd for security reasons, and by request of Sgt. Anthony. His crew did vidoetape, for purely archival purposes.

  • much RESPECT!

  • I simply don't understand something. How is it that you talk so much about the freedom of speech, and the UC Irvine video quotes Martin Luther King Jr. about the freedom of speech (Martin Luther King Jr. was a friend and supporter of the Jewish people, and the State of Israel), but you don't let people you don't agree with exercise their right to speak freely. No matter what the individual is speaking about, as long as they support Israel, you refuse to let them speak. I just don't understand it

  • On February 8, 2010, protestors at the University of California-Irvine spoke out one by one during a speech by Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Michael Oren. They did so to give voice to the people silenced by the policies of Oren’s government. After their protest, they faced a crackdown from their university, which suspended the organization that many of them belonged to, the Muslim Students Union. And now they face unprecedented criminal charges from the Orange County DA.

  • As ever, always sad to see well-meaning young people, like those in SJP, duped into support for terror and political extremism. It is even sadder that it even needs to be said: Zionism and the Jewish state are perfectly in line with the highest ideals of liberal democracy. It is the anti-Israelists, in their casual invocation of the legitimacy of terror (oops, "resistance") that stand against justice, truth, and peace.

  • @ackdad sorry_ just read over this several times and seems to make less &less sense_ 'zionism in line with liberal democracy'? have u read Herzl_ he was founder of zionism_ i doubt if u know that because he would definitely NOT agree! Nor_ interestingly_ would the Chief Rabbi agree with u about the 'Jewish State' _ so you are either joking with this garbled paragraph_ or your rather ignorant of the subject matter you're choosing to write about _ or you're a part of the Hasbarist word war

  • @ackdad Was it the State of Palestine that dropped white phosophorous on hospitals and shot children waving white flags in Gaza? The Israeli government uses terror to colonize land that doesn't belong to it and club the indigenous population into submission. Just like America did 400 years ago. End the occupation, remove the settlements and Palestinian terrorism will stop.

"If I were a Palestinian of the right age, I would join, at some point, one of the terrorist groups." - Ehud Barak

  • @ackdad zionism=ETHNOCENTRISM. no more,no less

  • Comment removed

  • Great action. There is no point in finding a compromise with someone who is attempting to justify a military occupation that exists in order to allow Israel to gobble up more Palestinian land. The occupation is wrong, and it's illegal. The wall is wrong and it's illegal. House demolitions are wrong and they are illegal. Settlements are wrong and they are illegal.

Would students be expected to find a compromise with the KKK for the sake of academic freedom? Hell no. There is no compromise.

I challenge you to read what I have posted in the comment sections (I answered a part of your accusations).
