I'm very interested in British, Irish, & European accents, although I'm Korean who learns American English in school

  • Is that his real, proper Irish accent?

  • Is that his real, Irish accent?

I know that he's Irishman who is born in Limerick.

  • His voice is so similar to Stephen Fry lol!

Is that his real, Irish accent?

I know that he's Irishman who is born in Limerick.

  • well said shame he has to go on holiday to finish his grouting and leave us to wake up to springsteen..

  • Ha ha i love these so funny,,love it when terry can't control his laughter, when he is live on air

  • These are Fantastic storys every time I hear them I'm in tears when driving on the M25 & i'm not alone i can tell you I have seen others too. Sir Terry & his team are the best.

  • Terry wogan is good.

  • im not surprised i have been listening to them on his podcast and i have laughed soo much i have cried.

  • Fantastic, I love these stories,

the two from this week had me in tears...

  • I love Janet n John stories, gives you a right good laugh just before going into work in the morning. In fact if I'm in early enough we all listen to it and it gets the office off to a really good start for the day, puts everyone in a really good mood. The stories are even better when you hear Terry and gang begin to lose it when they start to laugh at what's coming. Good old "double entendre" it's what us brits are great at damn political correctness and all it's absurdities!!

  • Really good that - have never heard his show before...

  • For those claiming the WUTW shows are pre-recorded:

This Janet and John story is a recording especially for the Janet & John charity CD released by Charity Goods Org for Children in Need. Visit Wogans radio 2 webpage for more details.

TW is simply the best DJ around. Not because he he is in tune with current trends etc but because he is, himself, a trend to be followed. My perfect mornings contain TW and then Ken Bruce.

  • Having watched this several times I feel I need to say the following. That fop Marsh (Cap'n Jack) has made no effort at all (that can only be his third best beard) lolling around. Straighten that back man! As for that Irish rapper (and George Clooney stunt double) Duff Paddy, he's only standing in for Johnny Walker. pretending to read Mick Sturbs smut and innuendo posing as comedy! Inspired, Brilliant. Can I have some more please!

  • i listen to him every day i don`t know how they get away with it, so glad they do though.

  • imagine thinking its pre recorded!! read what it is!!

    duh!!!!

  • Fantastic, absolutely fantastic - you can't be Wogan in the morning - its unrivalled!

  • BevelBob - that really doesnt prove anything of the sort! It wasnt part of his morning show and was probably recorded after it.

  • I may be wrong, but I think Bevelbob was simply toying with a little TOG humour here?

The truth is that this was simply filmed during an even longer-than-usual rehearsal for next day's show.

  • Of course it was recorded after the show. Just look at the clock in the top right hand corner

  • Well if this doesn't prove what we all already knew. The time on the clock was 9:50 The shows ARE all pre-recorded. :)

  • fantastic! all you have to do between 0730 and 0930 is look at other roadusers and you can tell who is listening to radio 2 and who isnt! very very funny and tw and his underlings brighten up my day thanks for posting this toghellenbach!

  • These are the funniest things I've ever heard, I've got the CD'S 1 & 2, must get the third. Will they ever put a video to one of the stories, say for children in need night.

  • So wonderful to see the Togs gathering on Youtube, and the Togmeister and Boggy in action. Sad that our Great Inspiration spurns this new-fangled media outlet and probably won't see his own epic performance - but steam radio though he may be, may he never ever retire!!

Now if we can just get a filmed version of Captain Bogwash!!

  • I drive to work at the time these are broadcast, how the hell I've not either crashed or had a heart attack from laughing I'll never know

    Keep up the good work!

  • I bought the first two of the three Janet & John CDs - absolutely fantastic, I nearly wet myself with laughter. Listening to these stories on the radio is what keeps me going on my way to work in the mornings. Well done Mr. Strubs, Terry and John!

One thing:- if John Marsh is only interjecting, or heard laughing, as part of the script, why is he dressed in character and not Terry? Just a thought!

  • fantastic

  • Poor old Boggy, I feel so sad for him.

  • Top quality video - good to see what Sir Tel & Boggy are like when they corpse during a J&J story. Love the outfit Boggy - he really is a Fopp and a Dandy. Thanks to Hellenbach (for posting this) and Mick Strurbs for his fantastic & very very funny stories.

    Steve,a TYG/TOG!!

  • Nice to see old Tel with a tie on, such a shame John dressed down for work today

  • "Cater for your every whim"? Not bloody likely.

I proffered my whim and got a court injunction for my trouble.

  • you just cant beat janet and john me and my mam crack up on the way to work in the mornings we always try and stay in the car a lil later just to hear it:P

  • Is it me or was Boggy looking a little underdressed for work this time? Is Janet not looking after him properly? I LOVE Janet and John, and the lord my god Wogan...

  • You would have thought Boggy would have dressed up for the occasion.

  • I love my half hour journey in the car to work, knowing there will be a Janet and John story to listen to. Its how Terry W. reads them. I laugh more at TW laughing, please continue to read more stories.LJ

  • Well done Mr Strubs, another great tale. ;-D

Well done the calendar team too! :-*

  • Brilliant Hells! More BBC (or Hells and Norm) More!

  • i love janet & john, its great!!!

  • Boggy, what a style icon he is!

  • Thank you!

My life is worth living, listening to these!

  • janet and john rock!

  • Quite.. funniest thing Ive heard for a while. I love it when STW is broadcasting and just dissolves laughing and can barely carry on reading it out!
