  • Well trained dog, owner did a great job

  • I love how his tail is wagging constantly. Shows most dogs see 'guard training' as playtime

  • Nice work. Where are y'all located for training?

  • Comment removed

  • these dogs look great even when they are over weighted

  • i see the Sch work in progress but the video cut off before the protection work started.

  • Cane Corsos are such a unique breed -- one Corso killed a woman, as she had died of blood loss. How? The Corso bit her. Everywhere. An uncountable number of slices were found on her body, like a dagger had got ahold of her! I love this breed; I'll never feel unsafe with one around!

  • @PitDogFetish That is horrible

  • They are naturally dominant dogs and will never back down from a challenge this is the cane corso I speak of and they're aint another breed better

  • cane corso is okay for a dog but again the pitbull is the best breed

  • Wow, great obedience! I'd feel so safe

  • beautiful dog,strong and with good bite!!!ciao.

  • ive got one just 5 months ago.. he looks exactly the same :P i love cane corso :D:D

  • first of all. dog fighting and PROTECTION TRAINING. ARE TWO VERY OPPOSITE THINGS MORONS!. DO SOME RESEARCH BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTHS, BTW GOOD JOB MAX!!! EXCELLENT MOTIVATION.

  • gotta say all this " my dogs harder than your dog " stuff is weak. kudos on the training by the way he's how all dogs should be, UNDER COMPLETE CONTROL AT ALL TIMES !!! which i bet cant be said for most of the imature people on here's dogs!!!

  • That is a massive dog! I love this breed!

  • great dog. training seems to be going very well!! what a beautiful animal!

  • Oh what the hell. A well-bred stable Cane Corso would allow 10 children jumping and sitting on him without one ounce of aggression or ferocity, but would throw his body on a blade saving every one of those children's lives in a split second, no questions asked. The Corso is NOT meant to be unstable, afraid of people, not to mention show ferocity OR apathy to non-aggressors. . If they do not fit this, either YOU or the breeder did something wrong. Simple as that.

  • The Cane Corso has a very stable temperament. It makes an excellent guard dog and watchdog. It will not wonder from the home. They stick close to their masters. If necessary he becomes a terrible and brave protector of people, house and property. The Cane Corso is not a fighting dog. They were bred as working dogs for hundreds of years. Therefore they will run away from any pitbulls

  • I'd like to see that with my own eyes and then I'd believe it.

  • @superdupersonic pits are a fighting dog cane corso are just a gaurd dog gaurd vs fight the fight will always win

  • @TheCaneCorso I don't really care.

  • Very, very well said!

  • @superdupersonic That's a nice lil fantasy story about a dog "throwing itself on a blade" or allowing ten children to jump on it...... personally i would discipline the kids to not to that in the first place, than id realize a dog is a dog and they don't posses higher cognitive abilities like humans, they are most instinct than anything, maybe you'll grow out of fairy tails one day, like those ppl who think certain "guard breeds" require no training at all to do their job...

  • if I said cane corso are scared of people then I take that back because I was wrong.. dead wrong my 6 months old cane corso just hop my gate yesterday and bite this man and his game pit both for showing off and teasing by puppy dam I never knew cane corso acts out that way so I have to think twice when ever I bring her back out side

  • yep, I never let mine go further from me then the leash when we are outside the apartment. Never know what could happen and when it happens, it happens fast as shite

  • Nice young dog, I love corsos.

  • I have a 20 month old black brindle female. She is about 95 pounds and can jump higher than any dog I have ever seen for her size. She is very fast and has a high prey drive. However, as much as I love her, I prefer Rotts. I raised Rotts for 20 years and believe there is no better dog. They are fearless and seem to know the difference between business and social situations. Perhaps there are Corsos like that, but my female seems a litte too wary of strangers.

  • I just got one Friday, 8 months old. Remember this those dogs reach about 130 = 140 pounds. Mine at 8 months is 90 pounds and honestly I let him know when I got him this past friday who is the boss. Remember your the boss. Great protector, great with the family and very protective, and they are stealth mode meaning they wait and access information and then proceed.

  • so how did you let him know who was the boss

  • lol. Im still in the process of letting him know im the boss. But at 9 months hes great, real great..........

  • i want one so bad

  • not a breed for everyone but its a good dog

  • thats not true my cane corso went at this woman for trying to walk in my yard.

  • yeah but he wasnt going to bite her mines use to do the samething but once she got in my yard my dog just lick her LOL them cane corso are way too friendly for a home protection breed my next dog will be a pitbull because they never let me down and you dont have to train that breeds either becuase they born with aggression right from start

  • ok how do you know that not every dog is the same

  • unless if they not the same breed then they wont be the same but if they are the same breed them they are too the same

  • you are right about cane corso are too friendly towards people because I only one and she is so scared that I have to drag her up to a friendly person just to show her that person mean no harm

  • oh and good job on tell me how my dog wasnt going to bite the woman

  • if your dog was a cane corso Im sure he didnt bit that woman

  • you got to be joken because cane corso are way to freindly or scared of people

  • every dog is not the same

  • ever cane corso I been around act like mines so what are you talking about

  • Doesn't mean its the right way!!!!!!!

  • A very nice dog. Will likely be my next breed.

  • He is working in avoidance, he keeps backing up. To much pressure. I would tie him out to a bunjie cord, and make him work for the bite, more prey. These rare breeds work in so much defense. To me more prey work.

  • Not working in defense. He is a dog that likes to back up. I know what you are talking about and it is not what his eyes where telling me at all. I would've liked for him to show better guarding however it is too late for that. He had great prey drive he was a Fly Ball CC the only in the world at the time.

  • He recently passed away, I agree with Shane, he was not in avoidance, he just back up that out of excitement, he had minimal protection work training, and lived for it. what you are seeing is maybe 6-8 lessons in his life.

  • I wish I could find an agitator in Scotland.

  • Find you someone who isn't scared of dogs and train with him. Agitate for him and let him agitate for you.

  • What a good dog!

  • Amazing job! And he sure is a handsome boy.

  • how much does he weigh?

  • he weighed 112 pounds in that vid

  • nice looking dogs I also own a cane corso they are the sweetest and friendliest breed to own

  • Great work!! Keep it up!!
