  • @number1tango that's what I thought too until I was looking at TWE headers and it said manual transmissions only.

  • Does it fit auto tranny

  • @TheScoobNoob the header has nothing to do with the tranny

  • your brave.

  • @DARKpoxam had to take one for the team. the header sucks. went back to oem. waiting for DC header to come out

  • @number1Tango i used to have a versa hatch, 6 speed 1.8 SL and i had like no intention in putting anything like this, the car is slow and well i never really got into it i dont even know why i got it in the first place, i mean the car is good and got me where i had to go for cheap gas, but w.e i got a mazda speed 3 now. do you still have your versa?

  • @DARKpoxam I still got the versa, but I did a motor swap and put in the MR20DE, its a plug and play swap, no ecu or tranny change, nuttn. the mr20de and the mr18de are the same motor just slightly different internals. I got an AEM intake and DC Sports Exhaust on the MR20, and with how lightweight the versa is, I just fly now. Love it. supercharger is coming out soon for it too.

  • @number1Tango I've been keeping up with the Versa DC header news; do you know if the car will pass emissions with the DC header? Also, any idea of the cost and ease of installation (i.e., plug and play?)? I'm about to pull the trigger on the DC cat back to go with my AEM CAI, then Eibach springs and maybe the NST pulley :)

  • From what ive herad about OBX headers, you can fix the leak problems by buying an oem gasket or better quality one from your local dealer or whatever. The obx headers come with shitty gaskets. Guess it doesnt matter much since you got rid of it tho lol.

  • naw, you can tell just by the revs that there is LESS low and midrange rpm torque. Your butt dyno lies to you all day long. willing to bet on this one....

  • sounds good

  • @J90lude check out my other vid with the DC Exhaust, sounds way better. and i went back to OEM setup w the header

  • Do you get a check engine light at all? Where did you buy the parts for the Versa?

  • @pharrari i sold the header, too many problems with leaks, put oem setup back on and bought the DC Cat-back exhaust. WAY better setup, sounds insane! check out versaspeed . com

  • Is the stock catalytic converter on it too or did you change to a highflow one?

  • its stock

  • your exhaust look slamed but sure does sound good

  • Wow, your Versa sounds nice.

  • thank you

  • is dis just header or also muffler pls. reply

  • header and with a custom 2.25" catback exhaust magnaflow muffler

  • hey whats the part # on the muffler you used?

  • very nice, i just got my obx headers 2dai for 90 bucks lolll, btw how big is ur engine?

  • 1.8L

  • how much did you pay for it im trying to get all the power out of my versa as pos

  • after tax and shipping, $237. Then the install was $130 at a shop. very worth it in my opinion

  • Then the install was $130 at a shop XD

  • nicely done! told you it would fit... good job on the pics and video... im to lazy to post detail pics.... now come over so we can take some video and pics....

  • Great job!! On Nico you called it a Header, good job on that as well, but... a stock "Header" is called an Exhaust Manifold. Revving your engine like that is killing it to by the way and I didnt notice any "noise" change, thats typical, but you should feel a bit of more power. Great job man!

  • thanks, and i know revving isn't the best for the car. i have some pretty decent speakers so i can hear a deeper tone with the obx header. i ran it through final cut pro it idles about 3db+ louder
