If Tarja was still in NW, I would choose her but since it is Annete, I will go with Amy. Honestly, Evanescence was the very first hard rock band I heard that drew me into rock music. Amy's voice was just beautiful. When I found Tarja, I loved her operatic soprano voice much more then Amy's mezzo soprano but I still do love Amy. But with Annete, while she is okay in my opinion, she's got nothing on Amy.

I love TARJA and AMY but I don't like Anette, don't like her voice and 'hep hep hep!' and her look. That's my opinion and I don't blame her to join to Nightwish, which I loved to year 2005.
Is Evanescence even a band outside the states? Nightwish is a huge international band, that plays through several genres. Look up "while your lips are still red" if you want to see their huge range of talent. kuolema tekee taiteilijan is another example.
As for Amy vs Anette... haven't seen either live (sadly) but Anette is my fave.

Nightwish to year 2005 for one of the best singers, my 2nd idol (i'm writing about Tarja of course), lyrics, and wonderful music, which I loved from the 1st time I heard them.
And Anette? She destroyed my fav songs of NW. Sorry.
Annette is way better, amy lee whines , moans and wails more than Tarja does, though tarja is also one hell of a vocalist, while annette has so much more variety to her voice

If Tarja was still in NW, I would choose her but since it is Annete, I will go with Amy. Honestly, Evanescence was the very first hard rock band I heard that drew me into rock music. Amy's voice was just beautiful. When I found Tarja, I loved her operatic soprano voice much more then Amy's mezzo soprano but I still do love Amy. But with Annete, while she is okay in my opinion, she's got nothing on Amy.

El caso de Amy lee es muy diferent, en efecto yo tambien pienso que ella es una cantante para estudio y no al vivo, en realidad creo que es porq ella no ha estudiado canto, hace lo que puede. MTV went looking for HER. evanescence worked hard to get noticed like any other band. the difference is that people liked what they heard. evanescence is nothng like linkin park, not that it matters considering thats simply your opinion. the bands you mentioned are too symbolic and therefore unrelateable. that isnt music, just trying too hard

I'm not in europe, I lived in Los Angeles for 15 years moron and after living here that long and listening to american mainstream music, hence evanescence, its not hard to see that european bands are much, much better, evanescence isn't getting any better because they have no originality in their music all their songs are the same, they'll never reach the complexity that nightwish has or the vocal range that tarja and annette have and that's my opinion, i doubt that you're 50 you act like your 8

Is Evanescence even a band outside the states? Nightwish is a huge international band, that plays through several genres. Look up "while your lips are still red" if you want to see their huge range of talent. kuolema tekee taiteilijan is another example.
As for Amy vs Anette... haven't seen either live (sadly) but Anette is my fave.

My fav band are Nightwish and Evanescence (and Children of Bodom btw.). Evanescence for one of best singers, my idol, style of music, lyrics, all beautiful and powerful songs. Nightwish to year 2005 for one of the best singers, my 2nd idol (i'm writing about Tarja of course), lyrics, and wonderful music, which I loved from the 1st time I heard them.
And Anette? She destroyed my fav songs of NW. Sorry.
