Love the video- wanted to comment on something. It's actually Grosgrain ribbon- one "s", not two. And it is called that because it's from the French- gros - meaning large or coarse ([French gros grain, coarse texture : gros, coarse, thick). That's also why it's pronounced "grow" instead of "gross"- because it's French.
