White coat ceremonies are a real shame. Please if you are going to be a doctor and they want you attend one of these please do not. Your badge of authority should be your knowledge and that will be self evident if you are any good. The med school is abusing these kids by having them go through this ego driven nonsense.

our docs dont wear them.... mostly just lab rats do....
