@stefano862007 I would love to buy your music and teach my students your work but I cannot buy your music on itunes. Where do we buy it from - I want the money to go to you and not upload illegally. I really love Kashtin and the old - versions of your music. That is what we can understand and sing in our class. We miss the music of Kashtin,
Beautiful sound, nature sounds, a nearly sacred Native American music and slideshow images on youtube. This music makes my heart clench in awe. Very mellow, yet perfect. Just discovered this today, my soul is starving for much more of this!
@GUAYAPA - I've posted video from Kashtin's fabulous reunion concerts at Mani-utenam on my channel, nikamuna09. (They did 2 shows - Innu Nikamu, then at the community centre (Salle Teueikan) afterwards :-)
Our great heritage the native culture ....my favorite band in the 90's i heard it first on a campus station in fredericton where the band introduced the whole album and i was fascinated with their songs thank you for posting....
@Phoenixsmiling1 This is the song Akua Tuta, by the band Kashtin from Québec, Canada.(Florent Volant & Claude McKenzie) They arent Innui, but Innu, they made 2 albums back in the 80s up to the 90s, they became very very popular in Québec, then everywhere in Canada, even in the States, this album, Akua Tuta, was sadly their last togheter, as they now have, both solo careers...But, it was never the same as when they were together. I wish they would come back as Kashtin.
@65cancer No problem my friend, if you really like Kashtin, try to type, here on Youtube : Kashtin Shinanu, its my favorite song from them, the video is also very nice, it shows the Innu ppl, Shinanu means "Our People" in Innu.
I live in a part of my city that has a lot of native people. Unfortunatly it's not as nice as the video. I guess there's a difference when you live in the city compared to where the pics are. Also their culture isn't wembraced by most including other native people. I don't like the term aboriginal or indian like most people call them. Some are good, some are not, like anyone else
My thanks for replies from obviously wonderful people who collect on a great musical site.

Akua Tuta (English):
Be careful what you do with the thing that has given to you
Be careful what you do... the way you were raised
Be careful what you do with the thing you protect
Be careful what you do with the thing which has helped you
Take care of our land
Be careful what you do - the way you were raised
Take care of our grandfathers
Take care of our grandmothers too
Take care of your children and your brother and sister's children too

Innu (Montagnais & Naskapi) is an Algonkian language spoken in Quebec.
Innuit (Eskimos) are also "Native Americans", a catch-all government definition including Indians, Innuits, Eskimos, Hawaiians and Samoans.

Hi Vanessa,
thanks for your kind words !!
I heard this song, years ago in Canada at vacation time and now I made my interpretation of it.
May be the pics of the different native tribes are wrong ?
But hey Im a German and I think the song and the pics are in harmony (if you not have the background) and thats enough for me.
Thanks and Greetings !!

Hi Vanessa,
I think the old cultures from the pics are really different to the cultures from present.
Time is running and things are changing thats the bloody trueness.
Cheers Rudi
