I don't think Dean and Jo would work - Despite Jo wanting him for years, I think Dean only ever saw her a baby sister, and that's why this scene was so touching. The first kiss on her forhead was entirely plutonic, but then I think he really saw her for the first time as the brave, beautiful woman that she'd become and the second kiss, the kiss on her lips, gave Jo what she'd longed for ever since she'd known him - like a final wish. This whole scene was so moving. First time I've cried at SPNL

Like in adandon all hope jo basically went after the hellhounds to protect dean and that shows that she really loved dean but I just hoped he noticed that she protected him from the hellhounds. i loved Jo for doing that she was a strong character for the winchester boys!!

I loved Jo. She was an amazing female character aswell as Ellen. Thing is about Jo, she did like Dean in that way but she knew what he really wanted and she never once gave into him and only allowing him that kiss at the end. She really held her own.. I miss them both.

I never shipped Jo/Dean. I preferred them as the way they were depicted; young Jo believing she wanted Dean and older Dean not wanting to get attached for sake of getting her hurt. It didn't work in the end.

Regardless, I loved this moment so much. The sorrow, the mourning ... the act of the final goodbye. It was such a (beautifully) tragic ending.
