how does it compare with the cbr..? the gsxr and ninja isnt appealing to me i find them super fugly so... yeah which one!? i loveeeee the r6 but i doubt it when people talk about the power being all on top and not enough down low so it isn't as 'good' as a cbr lets say. I know this is true but i like high revs, i mean why would someone want a fucking inline-4 ANYWAYS if they hate top end power? so is this a no-brainer or does the cbr have some special traits to it as well?

the 1098 has this problem with the engine. when you go up into the mountain. the air is thinner and the 1098 wont breath the thin air which caused the engine to burst from time to time. dont know if they solve the problem

hey hey hey, easy now lol. Ducati's aren't over rated, its just they are expensive compared to the same type of bike you can get for really cheap. I actually just bought a cbr1000rr brand new, got a sweet deal on it. put the akrapovic exhaust and power commander on it and it sounds sweet. I've always loved the styling and craftsmanship of a Ducatii and i still would love to buy a ducati 1098/1198. Its all personal preference when it comes down to it. Btw what do you ride? got any vids of her?

nope not rly, planning on buying a 2003-2005 r6 soon, ridden a 2001 honda cbr600. thou f4, gotta say hondas r pretty stable, also referencing frineds' opinions :)) nice choice with the rr, however, ridden a 1999 ducati monster, and i have to say it should have been a lot better if i had listened to the ads - gears were sticky compared to the honda, handles a bit harder...but u know what they say

Im a honda fan but sadly the R6 is a faster bike and overall a better bike. I personally drive a CBR600RR but those R6's are mean bikes. I ride with people who have from a 250 to Busa..the R6 and R1 and nasty bikes but it doesn't matter what you ride as long as YOU RIDE!

It was a dream to ride but the new version with the exhaust under the seat and alloy chassis instead of steel is so much lighter.

R6 probably won. Occasionally recognized as the most powerful 600 out of all the other manufacturers. Some more horsepower, but I'd say the difference is very minimal, and if the CBR was an RR the race woulda been 05% based on rider skill.
