In this case it's just like a low bass note that's repeated slightly off beat with the song, I'm not particularly a voyeur on dance music though, haha

@AutumnMystry technically, the low bass note thats repeated and wobbly is referred to as wobble bass...dubstep is a style of electronic music that makes use of the wobble bass, but there are other elements that make up dubstep other than just wobble bass.

@AutumnMystry i just went to a dubstep show last night, it was a lot of fun. if you're into electronic music or club music at all, definitely check out a show if you get the chance. so much fun. If you're not into that though you'd probably hate it.
