What a wonderful performance! I played her records millions of times as a student in the '60s and they still work the magic! Still have my old 33rpm disc "Della" - with the wonderful performance of "Goody Goody" etc. Do you know has this ever been issued as a cd? Many thanks for posting.

I love this video and Love Della Reese. I not only bought all the DVDs of Touched by an Angel - but I also own all her LPs and CDs --- I remember watching her on TV when she was just beginning.... I love her first Gospel LP -- play it all the time - AMEN.

I was a kid then, I am am still a fan.

This is a great lady, an entertainer, actor and minister. She is a life force. I pray for her eveyday.

I am a monastic priest, I am allowed very little, I still have that 45. God Bless Della Reese.

Yes, Neal passed away, Oct. 11, 2008. Am in contact with his son, Paul and his wife, Denise, on a regular basis. As a matter of fact, Neal asked Paul and Denise to join him for dinner. They did, and the next morning, Paul attempted to call his dad. No answer. They went tho his house and found Neal sitting on a chair with the telephone in his hand. Thankfully, Neal did not suffer.

I have a couple of editions of "Della", which is an amazing album. My favorite edition is the expanded edition released a couple of years ago, with bonus tracks. The tracks were the same, but demos, and performed only by Della and George Butler at the piano.
