There a real technical metal with a fusion of high pitch singing (bruce dickinson... kinda) with a little bit of screaming but not a lot. Check out sequia throne by them. I only address this iisue because i play in a band that plays that new style but i'm a guitarist and i really try to put my best out there every time. you don't have to like my music but you can at least respect the hard work

About the limited popularity of Krocus. My thought back then was that they sounded a lot like AC/DC and unfortunately hit their stride in the midst of AC/DC's rise to super stardom.
