Just picked up a black pair of these at the nike factory store here in vegas for 69 dollars. Wasn't a fan of the 2009's....till I tried them on. WOW! i LOVE MY 2010 UNC'S, BUT THESE 2009'S ARE DOPE TOO. The 2009's were missing in my collection, but glad to have them now.

i like the design.. nice touch with the diamond. the design fits with the new generation. a lot of people just aren't attracted the the old school look anymore, styles are moving more towards the new and innovative look nowadays.

The Black, White and Red colorway is a lot better than the white ones.. I copped a pair of the white ones.. Wore em once then the upper started to get real dirty. The feel of em is pretty nice though.

besides the hyperdunks are only designed to last for 80 hours of play so the 09's outdo them in quality and don't even look that bad imo, Way better than the 23's at least.

for everyone hatin on the jordan 09's the aesthetic aspect of them doesn't matter. Jordan's are supposed to be the pinnacle of basketball performance. I'd rather have the ugliest shoes that help me play better than a pair of shoes that looked good but didn't do anything for me. Besides Jordan's are always ahead of their time, in 5 years people will wish they grabbed these.

i agree with you partly. I think all the fusions are ugly EXCEPT one pair. That is the Fusion IV's. I think they look nice and i was one of the people who knocked fusisons cause honestly with release like the AJF 3 annd 5 i was disgusted. But the AJFIV got class man. I have a real pair and a pair of fusion IV's so i can honestly say from both points that the AJF4 is nice. About the playing basketball i agree except that they are heavy and they dont breathe so your shoe stinks fast.

I think theyre tight. Big improvement from the 23s, looks wise anyway. Ive never had any Jordans but I really like these. Im not some guy wanting to wear them cause they look good.
