  • They are long sold out. The first batch sold out before they hit the shelves, the second batch lasted about 3 weeks. You would think they would realize they have a winner and run them again. Walthers is slowly increasing thier N scale releases. Hopefully these get rerun soon. Best thing to do is contact Walthers and remind them that N scale exists and you would like to buy some.

  • do they sell these anymore because anytime I check there alwas out of stock.

  • I gotta get me one of these!!

  • Nice! I have a steam locomotive. The Athearn FEF-2 with DCC/ Sound which is quite similar to this. I have the same whitsle too!

  • me too i would like to have that

  • Give me that! :)

  • big boy

  • I think DCC sound in N scale will keep getting better. To date, I have not come across anything in diesel sound for n scale that I like. The steam engines do sound pretty nice for it's size, although. I just hope technology keeps getting better and better for n scale.

  • The technology will indeed continue to improve. Unfortunately, it's the speaker size and placement limitations for this scale that must be overcome. Suggestions are welcome.

  • @Silver1Sprg I dont care abou tsound.

  • @xxxIronHeadxxx That's fine. That's your choice. For many of us, we do. So what's your point other than not caring about sound?

  • @Silver1Sprg I want the option of not paying for sound

  • That sounds better than MANY HO sound equipped steamers that I've heard! Very nice.
