I always love how they show historical films about the Revolutionary War or the Victorian Era and every character is beautiful and coiffed. Most people don't stop to think that back then there was no medical care and no dentistry and people rarely bathed. They wore wigs because of hair loss and lice, and wore tons of perfume because they stank.

Awesome movie and soundtrack ! Love the scenes when Marie-Antoinette is at Le Petit Trianon. It's such a peaceful place, and one of the most beautiful gardens i've ever seen. I am lucky to live near Versailles so i can go there anytime. If one day you visit le Château de Versailles, you have to see this amazing place !

Really? You wish things are the way they were in France in the late 1700s and early 1800s? Have you ever even HEARD about the French Revolution? First of all, the chances that you would "live" like Marie Antoinette would be 1 in a billion. And, after all, she got whacked. The whole reason the French Revolution started was because the royal family ignored/couldn't fix France's problems.
