  • i like the vid. BUT if its a fake letter - its quite accurate on the TODAY of black homes, mothers protecting wrong sons, black men talked down at, dark skin light skin, and all of that is evident TODAY. so if debunking this letter helps us "take responsability" - tell me how. how can someone take responsiblity of something they dont understand and didnt even create? so death of this letter, but a birth to what solutions though? this gives understanding - we can fix it now. whats your soulution?

  • great job! i like how you embrace the middle and look at both sides. that is one of the greatest goals in life seriously! you make me want to make a difference in the world, and read more historical books. i think i'll look into reading roots.

  • Bravo!!!!! Good work my Brother. your presentation is above average. The only problem is that you talk as if being an African American scholars absolve them of presenting incorrect historical info. Your words Hes Black. and Hes Black look at the dashiki. Also Truth defends itself, under it, all things false will fade. If Keisha770 and Queen Latifah are being verbally assaulted for speaking the truth Im sure they can handle it without a chivalrous Knight. stick to the info.

  • zenqueen78 & ForChangeMovement...I can't debate you ppl, not my arena. I do hope y'all try & enjoy ur lives on this planet, hate will age ya.

What is the appropriate behavior for a man or a woman in the midst of this world, where each person is clinging to his piece of debris? What is the proper salutation between people as they pass each other in this flood? ~Buddha

Peace to you & yours, God bless

  • Ppl like you are so busy trying to 'de bunk' the letters authenticity you dont realize that the letters message is still authentic. Truth is most ppl couldnt stomach the trauma slaves really went thru and the letter does help open the eyes of many blacks who are beating thier kids because they are too dark skin or have nappy hair or hate being black. So, I ask how are you helping by basically denying the fact that slaves were brainwashed and traumatized? I dont get your point.

  • People are wasting too much time arguing over whether the letter is real or fake and not dealing with the Real issues. What is in the letter does ever so lightly describe some of the things that happened to slaves and the methods used by slave masters, so I still don't see your point. I know my history, have seen the photos and some of the writings; why are we arguing about One letter when so much worse happened to slaves than what is described in that One letter?

  • And in all actuality it does make sense for them to brain wash slaves psychologically as a method to lessen the physical damage so the slaves would be more useful physically. A slave with no hands cant work. Think about it. There are photos that prove that this happened so there is no argument as to what I am saying.

  • Good video. And I have to say after reading the speech true or not its something to think about. Also the process mentioned in the Willie Lynch Speech is very close to emotional abuse which if used on slaves im sure can have a similar effect.

  • thanks for the video..I just heard about the letter so I appreciate all the views and information to support and nonspport. Before I speak on info, I want to get it right the first time.

  • Great Information Chi!! Great vid!! Educate them my brother...

  • you can fuel a fire a lamp takes fuel

  • LOL. Okay. Thats one of the many anachronisms within that speech. Check my references. Do some research on the word refuel...

  • @ForChangeMovement my brother I'm not knocking your research or your references but i believe that all old documentation from when the country was first brought up after the constitution was written or before the country was under the us constitution has not been revised but the document is probably real but from "NUMEROUS" slave masters that wrote different treatment to make up the letter and then the document was named the "The Willie Lynch letter to make a slave". just a thought my brother

  • @marcmoney Nice but there are plenty of actual slave narratives and other real documents out there that we can get information from. The problem with the Willie Lynch letter is that it is too convenient. People read it and feel like they know how slave owners were able to psychologically "break down" slaves. But to me it doesnt take a rocket scientist to understand that a minority group in a foreign land that is physically distinguishable is going to be very easy to identify and control.

  • @marcmoney Think about how pimps work. They take women from one place and put them in another place that they have never been and have never met anyone then they keep them from having any real substantial communication with anyone in the new spot. Why? So that the hooker is totally reliant on the Pimp. Slave owners had that same upper hand. They took slaves from a whole other continent, brought them here and then separated them from anyone who had any way to help them. They relied on massa...

  • @marcmoney The reliance issue is more powerful than issues in that letter. Having documented some of the world of Pimps & Hookers, I have a better understanding of how that works.

This is also why i think that freedom scared a great deal of the slaves. Many continued to work for their masters even after laws passed giving them the opportunity to leave. After having relied on a owner so long, how easy is it gonna be for someone to fend for themselves? Especially in an America that relied on them

  • "Shadow boxes" Knock em out the box. This two vid post had alot of meat and bread to it. Let them know.

  • I knew the Willie Lynch letter was fake

  • Thank you for clarifying this MYTH.. I can admit I was Lazy and didnt know this was false.. You are a very humble person and I consider myself one too because today "Ive been humbled"... thanks "FORCHANGEMOVEMENT IN EFFECT" PS... I LOVE KEISHA770 too.that my girl.

  • Excellent Research and Response to the doubters.

  • The sad thing is, even with hard evidence or as in this case, lack thereof, some people will just say "You can't change my mind. I still believe it's real because everything in it has happened". I have met a few of these people on YouTube already.

  • I'm gonna have to take this info to work with me Tuesday " To wake up black people" it sounds more legit once you put it all together. ( just read the links)

This is once again great information, keep motivating for change!

  • Thats the kind of thing I like to see. People getting motivated, checking out the links, & moving on to spread the word.

    Appreciate that Sahbisun!

  • some words might b questionable .if it was a speech it it gonna be loosely translated as most oral history is . but it could b a fake i cant call this 1 .

  • When you look at how the speech was discovered you will see that it came to be in a manner that is very questionable. I recommend you check the links that I provided.

  • Thank you for the extra infomation, accounts, and references in the description.

I really like the approach you took in these videos.

  • I am so glad I subbed to you!

  • very interesting,...makes you wonder what the true motives of the nation of islam are,for Minister Farrakhan to quote the Lynch speech.

  • Dr. John Henrick Clarke stated once that if Farrakhan, "...had a TRUE understanding of history, he would be devastating." Basically it does not serve him to have this understanding!

  • Well FC, I have to run.. But I have a suggestion for one of your upcoming videos. "How does the Willie Lynch letters hold true in my life?" Boy that would be a good topic. Maybe cause one to reflect on their own lifes. Maybe that was intention of the conspirator??Hmm

  • This is off topic, but did ya'll see The Great Debaters? Do ya'll remember Denzel making references towards the Willie Lynch story? People naive about Willie Lynch such as myself will believe the Willie Lynch story even more by watching the Great Debaters.

  • I havent seen the movie, but i have seen the preview where he talks about the Lynch speech. Its unfortunate...

To me the speech was always suspect. It just doesnt make sense when you figure that the guy traveled from the WestIndies to VA. during a time when there were no airplanes to give a horrible speech that is so basic that its silly...

  • But Kudos to you for seeking out information and making a connection. Click the links like Chi said and come to your own conclusion.

  • Comparing these letters to the Tommy Hilfiger rumor is like comparing apples to oranges. To have such a debate is beneath me as an INTELLIGENT BLACK WOMEN.. I have truly said more than I have intended. I just think how ironic the reaction to your discuss supports the Willie Lynch theory.. Those are the facts!

  • Part 1 How one reacts to the letters is far more greater than the legitamcy. Those letter are not about rumors. They were probably developed so we as an African people can decide how we are going to react to them.

  • Part2) We ask ourselves how does those letters hold truth in my life. Do I want to make those letter accurate or inaccurate.(I am referring to our behavior) But again we can not focus on what is TRULY IMPORTANT! DB you find it humorous that he is angry and have an vandetta against another black man..Lol in the same breath you say those letters are false or inaccurate. My people will we ever overcome?

  • I dont have a Vendetta against the guy. I have a problem with what he said about Queen Latifah having blond hair. But that will probably be my next video, and will only be a response to him.

HB, did you even read the Willie Lynch Letter or the links i presented for this?

  • Again sir, I think you focus is MUTE AND SELF DEFEATING

  • Well thats your opinion and you are entitled to it.

In my opinion my focus is necessary & uplifting.

  • LMAO your focus is uplifting.. Excuse me! I just witness your blatant display of anger and disdain. Maybe you want to replay part 2 and review.

  • Here is my question to you...Why don't you think that Minister Farrakhan did more research before using information from the Willie Lynch speech in his Million Man March speech..? Usually his research is on point right??

  • MZSUZUKI!! The context of the letters is far greater important. True or untrue!! Does the letter ring true in your life. Stay focused on WHAT IS IMPORTANT!! NOT OUR EGOS!!! STAY FOCUSED AS TO WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO US AS A PEOPLE... do not make those letter true.. make them inaccurate

  • Do not make those letter true..make them inaccurate..Can you clarify what you mean?

  • What I am saying to you Ms, do not allow our horrid history to effect us today. There is of course, cause and effect. We hold our own destiny in our hands. I will not debate the origin of those letters. I am more concern with if they are an accurate depiction of my black people. All due respect to you mam,

  • No problem..I agree that we hold our own destiny in our hands. I respect the fact that you like tangible things...that if it feels right to you and you can logically think it through then it is right...

  • The problem arises when people BASE their whole argument on this speech (which might or might not be true) Its about being historically correct.

  • MZSUZUKI, I respect what you are saying mam, but I think as a people we need to concern ourselves with bigger issues. Who cares if Tommy Hilfiger is racist. More so, why aren't there more Russel Simons out there. You feel me?

  • There are plenty of brothers out there that would be wonderful leaders.(It took Russell 20 years).I have met quite a few of them on youtube..what I have found is some future leaders are cut down by our people for various reasons. Some of our leaders of tomorrow are being placed into Special Ed. as we are speaking...

  • Thats a good question. Im not sure i can answer that. Im not sure that Farrakhan does research or not. Would it matter? There are actually several books out on the Willie Lynch speech. He could have easily studied them. Prof. Ampim discusses the fact that a few college professors have taught the Lynch speech in their classes. People latch on to it because they want to.

  • It doesn't matter but I was wondering when you were there(even though you were 19) would that mean something to you that he quoted it? For the masses if it comes from the lips of Min. Farrakhan,a Denzel movie etc. then it has to be true...We live in the Cliff notes age..Wasn't your last video entitled Instant Gratification?

  • Well i know that Farrakhan did quote Willie Lynch. The Million Man March speech did a lot to promote the Willie Lynch speech...

  • My point made PRECISELY,such discuss will only cause divide. For Change!! The purpose is For Change. It is so ironic, LOL what the letter address(DIVIDE) it is occuring and we still can not see it. 400 MF years and we still can not see it.

  • LOL... Thats me trying to hold back my anger actually. LOL... I was upset. If you look at the last few videos that i rated, you will understand. But there are several others that i didnt rate too.

  • Yeah, I was watching that Keisha770 video. The comments on that video are ridiculous.

  • Lessons Learned! OMG!

  • Great video. I love how you ended it. LMAO @ your angry face though. Peace bro.
