  • And then Dr.J tweeted about his dunk when he got home...

  • Now that's a facial.

  • Welcome to Posterland!

  • Dr.J should have won the championship that year the '77 finals had the worst outcome in history.

  • @Cooley96 If you are a Philadelphia 76er fan, I completely understand. If you are not, then you are crazy. If you can't appreciate that '77 Portland team, then I question how much you are understand the game of basketball. But like I said...if you are a Sixer fan, then I completely understand your point of view.

  • @67bobbyg Dawkins, Erving, McGinnis's season & career numbers were 10x better than the blazers "star players" numbers. Then you have clyde mayes on the blazers who scored 4 points in a season LMAO. They were terrible, the Sixers got payed to lose they felt bad for the blazers after game two because it was obvious they were going to lose. George McGinnis (1976 scoring champion) misses the go ahead bucket in game 6? Yeah right! same thing happned in 80, 81 & 82. It's popularity contest.

  • @Cooley96 Basketball is not a game of adding numbers together. If you want to make that arguement, then why wasn't the 81 Warriors a title contender? They had B. King, WB. Free, JB Carroll, and P.Short all having scored over 12K pts in their careers with each having at least 4 20+ scoring years. Basketball is a game of everyone understanding and playing their roles. In 77, Port had a club in which everyone had a role, and they played it. Phi was an individual oriented team without defined roles.

  • @67bobbyg I fail to see how basketball isn't a game of adding numbers together, but regardless. Im surprised you'd include purvis short because he was barely average, and hardly ever started in games, world B Free didn't do much besides try to score. Basically the only decent person they had was Bernard King. I know the 1977 finals were rigged because maurice lucas had the best all around performance and they still awarded bill walton with the finals mvp. WOW. F-A-V-O-R-I-T-I-S-M

  • Protoposterization.

  • I remember seeing that live on TV back in the day - never forgot it.

  • daaamn, in your face kareeeem
