  • Great short film, bad acting

  • Has the point been lost here - recap, it is ILLEGAL to play foreign lotteries and most countries have this law. It is prob in the Lottery rules that any winnings will not be paid to winning tickets originating from abroad. Interestingly your application (money) will not be rejected or returned :(

  • All lotteries are form of gambling. Winnings get addictive and then, you lose all. I think the government should tax all winnings in order to try to discourage anybody from gambling. If you want to make money, please, get off the couch, and get a job! Avoid casinos at all costs! Lottery is a get rich quick scheme and we don't need something like this.

  • Real, legit lotteries are often great for the community. They give a lot of the money coming in to schools and town improvement projects, among other things. Getting rid of them could affect these projects negatively.

And lottery winnings ARE taxed - HEAVILY.

And your "get off the couch" comment? Very rude, especially in this job draught. It also implies that desperate poor people that don't want to work play them. Lots of people gamble for fun.

    And lottery

  • Not really. Get off the couch is used by many media group to ensure that people are not likely to live in the way of slovenly and laziness. There are people who don't care much to get jobs or are unlikely to be getting jobs in favoring in winnings. And then they get into debits

  • @waddleduckie1 I think the government needs to stop thinking for us and let people learn how to survive.

  • I think so too liazzer

  • Trust me all my American friends Im a Canadian and been playing my legit lotto 6/49 here in CAnada for 20 years and aint won more that a 1890.00 payoff..

  • This problem is domestic as well. In the 1980's some "company" walked from door to door in the greater Los Angeles area offer people loans that had a four or five year balloon payment.

Most of my older friends took out huge "loans" and it broke my heart to see an 85 yearl old lady suffer a fatal stroke because she was going to lose the board and care home that she and her husband worked for and lived in for decades.

  • Very well produced. IMDB ought to include this as a credit for Robert Pralgo, Leigh Hill and the rest of the cast. For the most part this isn't hokey at all.

  • doesn't exist under Les Rayburn either..

any idea in what year this was produced ?

  • It is copyright 2004.

  • Haha, that was awesome! I didn't know the government made this type of stuff.
