i hate how people all call us "NEWFIES" it may not be so offence to yous but i knows that its some offence to me! I wish people would just call us all Newfoundlanders!! I think then i would give more people respect if they called us "Newfoundlanders"

@sarah4673 We call each other Newfies. We call ourselves Newfies. It's a source of pride. Depending on the context, it could be like calling someone a Nigger with stereotypes, or it could be a wonderful grand compliment.

What an amazing song. I remember in the late 90s a bunch of kids in their late teens went mummering lol I never tried it though. I was probably 8 or 9. But did it ever look like fun. My big sister who was probably 15 or 16, and was always a very small girl, managed to fit herself in a PILLOW CASE and managed to walk around like that lol probably had her arms sticking out too some how. I can't quite recall. But my face is starting to hurt from smiling so much from the song and memories :)
