A lot of what you're saying makes sense , the nobility of Zapotec Civilization believe they ascended from the sky/heavens and thats why they adopted the name Be'ena'Za'a ( some variation) loosely meaning Cloud People. this is nothing you don't know though just I'm understanding where you're coming from because from what we know they were more advanced in the civil sector than Europe (Monarchies instead of Republics or Confederations), and on par with China and Muslims in education.
