I did the rolling version on a poor unsuspecting white belt (I am a white belt also) and it worked like a charm and felt badass enough to get our instructors attention. A couple of days later, I did the rotating version on a 175 lb. orange belt (14 year old) and it worked like a charm as well. I only outweigh him by a few lbs. The biggest challenge is getting into the side control with more advanced opponents so basics still rule the mat!
I'm not really a fan of gi chokes but I have to tell you those were some pretty sick moves. They seem ez to learn and I love how the second 1 flows so well with the first, not to mention it looks bad ass as well. Overall wonderful video and kickass techno :P
He's a solid 175 lbs and maybe more! Crazy strong too!
