THANK YOU Brucified!!! I could kiss you for posting this song. This album, but mostly this song got me through what coulda been a tragic time as a teenager. I used to take my little ghetto blaster onto a hill in Hemet, CA, where I was in locked up girls juvenile delnqunt grp home and watch the desert sunsets, and play this song over & over & over until I finally decided to be one of the birds who couldn't fly away and I flew away or ran away back to Hunington Bch for the best sunsets in LIFE! XO

is here on YT! Love and Rockets, Bauhaus, Joy Division, The Cocteau Twins,

Dead Can Dance, Sisters of Mercy, Jesus and Mary Chain, and I could go on!

Wow! But what excites me the most is that there seems to be a genuine

interest from the younger folks, in the eras' music!

I loved these guys as a kid in the 80's, especially this album. Can't go wrong

with the former Bauhaus band members, even if they were sans Peter Murphy!

One of my all time favorite songs along with double dare - Bauhaus, love is stronger than death - The The, A strange Day - The Cure, Parinoid Android - Radeohead , and Red Rabitts - The Shins amongst other varrious songs by above said artist and thier other projects. I'ved used this as an influence for my own song "Vanish and Reappear" but I can't imagine the final project will be this great. I can dream though.

start with A major. Move between majors and minors and arpeggiate. If you can do that on a 12 string then you'll have the general idea down.

this brings back some nostalgic feelings. can't quite pinpoint memories or imagery from back then but the feeling is great. Saw L & R in concert several times in Seattle. Am now just realizing how incredible their songwriting was/is. Back then, it was only about the cool melodies and hooks.

Great song. I remember listening to it on an old walkman (1989) as I flew from Chicago to Boston. As we flew through the clouds, the imagery in my mind as this song played was very surreal.

First time I heard this song was in 1988. I was living in a youth hostel in Aucland New Zealand together with a guy from Israel and a guy from Hawaii and a beautyful girl from Sweden. We were smoking pot and listening to love and rockets.

This song always reminds me of those days in Aucland.
