  • Justine what if you marry me? You can come into the country then right? :- ) If you came to live with me in Canada... wow my life would be... ,<333333 anyways you're probably not even reading this but if you are then continue ... so as a Canadian, I think our healthcare system is fair because if I get a life-threatening disease, I know I'm covered.

  • Are you single?

  • @ocguyiscool Yea cuz im sure she wanna date u small, pink limped dick crackers online,LMAO....aint no white gurl wants u no talent crackers anymore, they want a strong, black man with a huge dick....dont make yop self cry u inbred

  • You are beautiful

  • *don't get me wrong.

  • I would say come to the UK, but our system has many, many flaws. I mean do get me wrong, it does work. It just needs a lot of reform. And a whole lot more funding. I suppose you could try Germany or France. I've heard they offer a good standard of service.

  • My favorite part of Canada is how the government picks and chooses who has to pay taxes based on race. :)

  • Do not mistake presevationist as racism. Every immigrint that comes to your

country, is replacing one of your kids. Do not give your kids land away! As a matter,

it could be said every immigrant taken in is a lost life killed before

the child was born. You have been brain washed from the after of world war 2 as to immigration. Encourage with incentives woman to have more then three kids

  • im a canadian and im telling you NOT to come to canada....our health care system sucks......but it goes along the lines of you get what you pay for.......when you go to the hospital i dont think you should have to sit and wait 8 hours in the waiting room then another 2 hours in the exam room for a broken arm.......in the town i live in the hospital here just ships people away......we call it our "bandaid station" till you get somewhere competent :|

  • go to france. number 1 healthcare system in the world

  • I live in the US and have government health insurance.. my medication costs like 9 cents xD niiice

  • @TheIntoxicatinglove Yeah we do its 13%... whats your taxe?.... its better to have it in your taxes that way when you do get sicks you dont have to worry about paying the high prices all at once.

  • People with MS might be able to come to the US but many have a difficult time getting health insurance from insurance companies because it's a pre-existing condition. So insurance companies will insure you but not cover your MS.

  • I'm sure someone already mentioned this but--there is no "free" health care. It's either paid for by taxes or paid for individually.

  • I live in Australia and we get free/subsidised healthcare. I knew that seeing a dr in America was expensive but I didn't realise quite how much! I'm not gonna roll my eyes at the $30 it costs me now :/

  • Everyone always complains about how it takes so long to get help from a doctor in Canada. Think of all the people who can't afford to get help and live sick and suffering in pain all the time. My point is I'd rather pay taxes and wait a while and get better then not get help at all and pay however much money Americans pay.

  • COME TO AUSTRALIA!!!!! we have a good public health care system!

  • we do pay for health insurance. medicaid taxes are withheld.

  • COME TO ENGLAN-... no wait, don't. You'll be severely depressed within a month.

  • You should still come to Canada to visit because we want to see you! :)

  • fuck canada.and there geese and there damn..maple!

  • I live in Brazil, and here we have a free health care sysem, as well, only that is undoubfully the SHITTIEST health care system in the world. So you either not pay and not get a good service and die (probably)... or you pay like millions of dollars worth in our money to get a good doctor ><

  • I did not know this..but I find it quite interesting..thanks for the interesting bit of knowledge Justine!

  • aussie.

  • The Canadian versus American system debate is old. Both systems have their pros and cons. Ignorant people claiming that Canada is a socialist country, or the U.S. doesn't care about its people, based on their systems, need to crack a book.

Some of my fellow Canadians need to lay off Justine. She's not insulting us, and gives some pros and cons for each system. She's giving opinions based on what she's faced. I would rather have the Canadian system, but I still think Justine is the cat's meow!

  • Jpmetz I love you but this video is absolutely ridiculous. The US can also, like canada, deem you ineligible for a visa on health grounds. Insulting Canada for being discriminative when the US is the exact same is ignorant on your part. I'm not even Canadian but still felt the need to post this comment!

  • It appears anyone can come and live in Australia.

However currently our dollar is worth more than yours plus everything is more expensive - Today I saw an $11 piece of fruit , just one piece not a whole orchard.

If you don't have a job then dr visits are free with medicare. If you work It's around $50 and you could get some of that back.

  • move to Scotland we have free health care, need to wait at least a year on freakin never ending waiting lists only to get sneered at like your shit on a shoe in a hospital that you will more than likely leave with more ailments than you arrived with but hey ho .. shits n giggs :)

  • i am disappointed in my country... come on canada... im making my own country where Justine can have all the damn free health care she desires.

  • have you looked into the quality of the health care there though?

  • Well, then just move to Germany! We have a great healthcare system. :)

  • The US does discriminate based on health issues.

  • I'm Canadian, I turned 18 a couple of months ago and I can't find a doctor, although we have clinics to go to for free the line up is hours long. I usually end up at a private clinic(100$ a visit) which I can join but it will cost me a lot to join and I have to do it through my dads company.

One thing I always notice though when I go to Florida, is that if you're willing to pay, the ER wait is like 10 minutes at hospitals where as in Canada although it's free, it's like 5 hours.

  • Our healthcare sucks. 1st of all, You will get better care in the USA than here in Canada. The best was to describe my healthcare is this "You get what you pay for".

I feel any Canadian who thinks our health care is superior, is 1: an idiot, and 2: has never lived in the USA & used your health care. Up here my special needs son waited a year for a pediatrician, in the USA, I looked in a phone book and had an appointment the next day. Some Canadians are just uneducated about the healthcare

  • @Cerinee Actually several academic studies done have proved the quality of care in private institutions to be lower, because of cuts made in order to generate a profit. Obviously there are exceptions with clinics that cater to the super wealthy but as a general statement that isn't academically factual. The wait times may be quicker if you can afford to pay for the system, but unfortunately not everyone can- which is sad. Each system has it's pros and cons.

  • I'm Canadian, and shame on the government for saying you wouldn't be able to immigrate here. I guess we're unworthy of your amazingness.

  • Whatever you read was wrong. It did not cost a million dollars for us to immigrate to America...

  • Get a job then, jesus christ. Canada has the right to deny whoever the Hell they want. We know our system isn't perfect (I have dual citizenship for Canada/America). And I PREFER the American one. But don't bitch about Canada not letting you in when you quit your job. I waited 16 years to get my American citizenship under a green card. It's NOT easy to get citizenship. Seriously. Boofuckinghoo.

You know America does let in? Illegal immigrants! How lovely! :/

  • I'll smuggle you into Canada! :D

You can live in my closet... ^^

  • I love your videos, they keep me entertained every day! Keep doing what you do.

  • You should move to the UK!! hehe... joking don't worry. Over here we all pay into the NHS (National health Sevice) so we all get free healthcare. And in Scotland they've just passed a law so we don't even need to pay anything for prescriptions!! It works, and I truly can't see why America doesn't do it too.

  • In Minnesota you would qualify for insurance you would pay like 25 dollars a month and get really good insurance that covers most everything

  • they will except you if you have family here no matter what the conditions of your health we're learning about this in Socials and you do have a point but it's also a very contraversial matter, but seriously stay in U.S they do have a better Economy and more jobs and also your taxes don't go up very much if there is a major crisis in the health care system .

  • i'm canadian and i hate people who say others should move to canada for healthcare benefits. it isn't that easy and it isn't "free"

  • I guess it really just depends on the person. My grandparents in Canada love the health care system because even though getting an operation may take longer, they don't have to pay top dollar and end up having to sell their home because of it. But when you're young, like Justine said, it's way better to have a privatized system! I'd hate to pay all that money in taxes when I rarely ever go to the doctors!

  • I'm sorry you have MS :( If your parents put you on healthcare from infancy you could have just continued it and wouldn't have to switch insurers. The way to make the cost of health care go down isn't to make it a right through taxes, because then you have issues like you stated in your video. It's to make it more like business and competition drives prices down. Or stop requiring businesses to provide health care, because then you are tied down to a job for life if you have health issues. :/

  • We say you should come to Canada 'cause we want you as our queen. We want to bow down to you when you pass though our cites and towns. ALL HAIL QUEEN JUSTINE!!!

  • I seriously considered moving to Canada for a few reasons, and one was for the healthcare. Let's stay here in the US and push for a better system Justine!

  • Good thing immigrated ILLEGALLY to America is so freaking easy.

  • man if they want u to move to a new country for free health care than move to australia atleast its warm and an island lmao before I get hate comments from canadians, my dad was born n raised there im half canadian ha ha

  • @TorresNY155 I am a canadian who was looking into immigrating to australia and it's literally impossible unless you are like a doctor.

  • @Cboy91z I was being sarcastic lol, She is annoyed people keep tellin her to move to canada so I said heck if they want u to leave america just for health care atleast pick somewhere like australia lol I wasnt serious

  • Other countries with healthcare don't discriminate that damn much about immigrating, and Canda is somewhat notorious with disability advocates for how fucked up that is. :(

OTOH US citizens pay pretty similar taxes to other developed countries - it just goes (largely) to the military rather than healthcare. Woo. I'd rather pay more taxes and have better healthcare myself (I'm in NZ, we have public healthcare but it's not as good as lots of other countries as we are small and poor).

  • Don't worry Justine, I think the US is very close to getting universal coverage. So you don't need to move to Canada :)

  • That rule is very stupid, and I'm a little shocked/ashamed that it exists. I'm a Canadian and i never heard another Canadian gripe about paying health care through taxes. I think you would agree that paying for health care little by little through taxes is far superior then paying sums that could go up to about thousands of dollars or more all at once. I think that since you have to pay thru taxes universal healthcare is scary to some people at first but once they live with it they fall in love.

  • @project71beats You make a compelling argument.

  • The one thing i can say is, as a canadian, yes, we do pay for our healthcare system out of our taxes, but at the same time, i'm glad that we pay for them with everything we buy because say if i got cancer, i don't think i'd be able to afford to pull out thousands of dollars immediately to help battle cancer, or any other disease for that matter. Even the 300 dollars that soundlyawake had to chip out, i don't think i can come up with that money, so sometimes it's nice to have that coverage

  • @oxnina You definitely pay more than 300 dollars to have coverage. And since when is cancer covered?

  • preach!!

  • You should come to the UK instead. Free Health Care ftw.

  • @MyHallelujah it's the exact same system, why would she do that...

  • @oxnina Is it a crime to want Justine closer to home? ;)

  • I think Canada should come to you ;)

  • Okay, here's what I'm gonna do — because I HATE privatized health care, I will move to Canada, change their bullshit preexisting condition mandate, and have you live there and try it out for a year. Just to see, k?

  • Come to England :)

  • WELL let's see I'm Canadian & my father left the facking country to have surgery in Germany because they wouldn't do it here. WHY - because they're lazy basically. I can't tell you every detail because that would be boring as frig but it's the just of it.

  • Canada is stupid. I'm Canadian and I hate having healthcare taxes pushed onto me so that fat old people can sit at the emergency room everyday for something to do. The system here is trash and if you break your armor have strep throat you sit and wait at the emergency room for 6 hrs which is sometimes impossible to handle if you are feeling REALLY sick. Also, it's impossible to get your own family doctor because they disallow private practices. It's just complete junk.

  • well I for one would not tell you to come to Canada...it's too damn frikin cold. I want to move to the states !!

  • europe wins

  • COME TO AUSTRALIA!!!!!! :D

  • Why don't you apply for Medicaid? There is no copay and they pay for most everything.

  • @StageNameSadie I don't qualify for new jersey medicaid

  • Oh and also, our taxes are usually the same cost of americans. As well as our health care being a "right" to every canadian. It actually is in our charter of rights and freedom.

  • @nickkkpurdy many americans use public healthcare here, that's where our taxes go. people like me don't qualify for these programs because they are for the very poor.

  • LOLOLOL that was me who tweeted at soundlyawake ! aahah omg i love my life.

  • How about Germany? ;)

  • I have no idea why we would do that... oh wait our current Prime Minister would be the cause of that. We are a VERY accepting society I want to see that part of the law removed if you want to be a Canadian citizen you shouldn't be shut down because of a disease. Yet we allow thousand of people from Sri Lanka that are possibly subject to human trafficking. Thanks a lot Stephen Harper, and don't think any higher of yourself Liberals! All of Canada's politicians are screwed up! ... the frig!

  • I agree

  • Canadians are so obnoxious some times... at least on youtube lol.

  • @yeronmyradar yes we can be we aren't a perfect society (they're from Ontario) but looking at some of the videos of the Japanese Tsunami videos Americans are very rude. Now I'm not saying all Americans are beer swilling rednecks but I was in the Vatican City on spring break and this man with a thick southern accent (I shit you not) took two beers from a vendor while waiting in line at a restaurant, opened one finished it, put it back, and took another one, in the Vatican City a holy place!!

  • Well if you think about it, we have two totally different government structures. Canada has a socialistic government system and the US has a Democracy. These are very closely related besides the fact of taxes. In Canada, they have a Valued Service Tax (VST) that is on almost anything that you buy. This tax goes to all of the government funded programs that define Canada as Socialistic. In America, we have a few basic taxes, but these aren't applied like in Canada, making the US a democracy.

  • @thomasmartinmakeup no no no, America is a Republic with democratic government

  • @thomasmartinmakeup ...so? LOL are you saying that the US is better bc it's more democratic? The US army has a very good social structure that provides proper healthcare and benefits to their families, rather ironic. The problem is people have tarnished the word, it's really just the idea of giving everyone equal access to basic necessities.

  • @spazzing I did not say that the US system is better. I personally prefer the Canadian system...

  • I was going to suggest Australia, but it's probably easier to become the US Minister for Health (or equivalent) then make the health system more like Australia's (in terms of payments and insurance). Tell me you wouldn't rather pay $1000 in income tax each year and not need a doctor, than have something happen and need like $5000 all at once.

  • I would prefer to know that if I ever required health care, I would be able to receive it with no large sum of money coming directly from my pocket, but in small increments over time. That been said, Canada is rated somewhere in the bottom of the ranking for countries that have universal health care. While our health care plans service us, we have a long way to go in perfecting the system. I agree with Justine in that Canadians are too quick to sing our praises while ignoring out faults.

  • @DF0G when you receive medical bills, you can arrange to pay them in small increments here as well with your doctor's office. my family does it with the dentist and the local clinic all the time.

  • @DF0G We have a minority government everyone in Parliament are like children that want the same piece of candy, they can't agree on a single thing we haven't had a major law passed in 5 years

  • Yep. I have told you my aunt has M.S. and she lives in Belgium not Canada. She has been trying to move back here for years, but she cannot

  • Yes. Canadians have to pay tax to get healthcare, but it works. That's why every civilized country has a proper healthcare system except for the US.

  • Cancer runs in my family, so I'm going to appreciate not worrying about money when I'm dying, hopefully in the distant future, and not leaving my family behind to pay for a shitload of medical bills.

  • Plus here in Canada, we have Canadian GEESE. Kick that.

  • @sp4ever2912 uh.. we have Canadian geese in the US, too. haha

  • yeah, i hate when other countries do that!

  • I would much rather pay a little more on taxes then be fucked if I break a bone or get sick.

  • so canadians pay more money us AND they are not american? i feel bad for them.

  • The Canadian healthcare system isn't perfect, but a socialized healthcare system results in less expenditure on healthcare per capita than a privatized system does.

  • @SooperNovak and you get what you pay for!

  • based on some stories i heard about what its like actually getting care in canada i'm not at all surprised to hear that lol

  • eh, it's too cold in canada anyway :P

  • @teamforcedjudgement Yeah if you live in fucking nunavut

  • @Mrsequals3 lol, im sorry >.<

  • i told my mom "did you know that if you have MS you can't move to canada legally?"

she says "yeah, because it can spread" I looked at her like she was mental.

    me: "mom MS isn't contagious."

  • You should move to Canada!

  • The canadian healthcare isn't as wonderfull and perfect as the asshats who tell you to move here make it seem like, but if you're one of the people who can't afford to get private insurance and you break your leg you can still go get it fixed. The taxes are insanely high (especially in quebec) and the waiting hours (in mtl anyways) go up to 8 hours, but you dont pay a million dollars to fix your leg.

  • Aah this is so good and I totally agree!

  • I'm an immigrant to Canada. I am not in good shape but I was okay enough to pass the exam. If you can prove that you can supplement your health care with private insurance, you may still be able to immigrate. The medical exam is only one part. I am also sure that it helped that I was married to a Canadian.

  • oh ya and ....I LOVE YOU JUSTINE!!!!!!!!!!

  • More Judy on Jpmetz channel! She must come back!

  • Canadians.. Australians (like me).. Brits... New Zealanders.. Germans... Everyone pays taxes to contribute to our 'free health system', but that's because we all want it free. If everyone wants something free, everybody has to chip in and pay.

  • Yes we do pay a lot of taxes and it is GREAT if you're already born and raised here, as I was, but either way, as a fellow MS'er it just sucks to be sick... period... you'd hate it here anyway there are TONS of geese!! lmao

  • Really like your video. Ours system are different and we all can choose wich one we prefer.

  • how about the people who have serious health problems but can't afford treatment? I don't like that sink or swim attitude the States has, shows how the country's first priority isn't the citizens but how much money they have. That would suck finding out that one of your best friends was diagnosed with cancer and you couldn't do shit but just stand by and watch them struggle and possibly have to mortgage off their house. The business of health care shouldn't be a profitable organization.

  • Sure healthcare systems in countries such as Canada or France etc. are paid through taxes, when you need to see a doctor like once a year, it can seem to be excessive, but the whole point of it is when you have expensive medication or surgery to pay for, it does help. It's a system based on solidarity, anyone might need surgery someday, not having to worry about how getting to pay for it is a great advantage. Health is important, it shouldn't be based on what you earn.

  • no one cares about canadians anyway. america's hat. nothing more.

  • @Zordini it's kinda sad you say no one cares about Canada in the US especially when we're your biggest oil supplier and you guys live off our natural resources, i.e. lumber and fresh water....more like America's brain.

  • @11CUB11 I care about Canada and I'm from the USA. My school is taking a trip there this summer, too! We like it enough to visit! But please do not call Canada America's brain. :)

  • @Nicole3900 That's so cool that your school is coming here. Hopefully you guys stop in Toronto because there's so much to do here.

Look, In no way did I mean to insult you by saying the "America's brain" thing. I only said that as a retort to a retarded comment that some vag grape made about Canada being America's hat (btw that comment is old and almost as annoying as the whole "Adam & Eve not Adam & Steve" one lol). Anyways, neighbour, much luv to u! :)

  • @11CUB11 Sorry about the stupid person who said that. :( It is obviously not true. Both the US and Canada are awesome. I know for sure that we're stopping in Montreal; I hope we also go to Toronto!

Much love to you as well, neighbor! :)

  • @Zordini People do care about Canada...that's kind of an immature and unrealistic comment to make. Lots of Canadians have American relatives and vice-versa and Canada and the US work together on a lot of things. Canada and the US are not that different, except for things like population and some government policy. I always think it is hilarious when comments like this are made.

  • @Zordini i personally love making serious and educated comments on youtube... look at all the fucks i give!

  • I'm from Canada and I will smuggle you in the hell. Wait what

  • It's true that we pay for health care through our taxes, even if we don't go to the doctor. But, there is an upside. When we get old there will be tons of doctor's appointments, possibly cancer treatments, surgeries. Those will all be free. And, if something serious does happen, we don't have to worry about forking up money to pay for it. Also, we don't have to pay to give birth at the hospital, another upside. So yeah, sucks paying taxes for it, but worth it in the end.

  • Come to Germany! We would let anyone in. Okay, you have to pay lots of taxes. Also it would help to be able to cope with unfriendly people beefing around all day... not that this is the only thing that makes us unpopular to people all over the world... well... i better get to bed now. Good night.

  • as a canadian citizen who has a mother with multiple sclerosis i can tell you this... the canadian helathcare system, while it does have it's faults does it's best to help all people. concerning the discrimination, i understand your frustration with this, but how is this any different from insurance companies denying coverage to people with pre-existing conditions? i don't 100% agree with the policy, i do think it is in some ways necessary because what would then prevent all people from coming

  • Dam Canadians !!! HOW RUDE

  • "BUSINESSMEN AND ENTREPRENEUR -

If you have about $1 million to invest in the USA, then you can get a Green Card and have a permanent resident status in about 18 months. You can apply for a US Citizenship in 5 to 6 years. So in this case, total time required to immigrate to USA legally and become a US Citizen is up to 7 years."

  • Our taxes go towards many things besides health care so the sum we actually pay for it is tiny. I'm a healthy 28 yr old but last year I had this freak mini-stroke (?). I had countless tests (ct scan, ekg, eeg, tee, mri, blood tests etc), and didn't have to pay anything up front. The taxes I paid are minuscule in comparison to the 1000's I would've had to fork out to pay for the actual tests. I know that insurance cos. in the US turn ppl down all the time just for having pre-existing conditions.

  • On top of it all, when you want to go to a clinic or hospital, you're likely to be waiting hours, depending on your condition. Broken arm? Eh, you can wait 7 hours.

    -.-

Our health care system is free, and it works, just it's... Crap.

  • It's because all our doctors moved to America because it pays better. :/

We used to let people immigrate no matter their condition.

So no one can get a doctor unless you already have one right now. Not even Canadian's. People who don't have family doctor's have to resort to clinics and hospitals.

We're in the middle of a health care crises, or something.

Sucks, man. But they don't wanna raise taxes.

  • @peoplecallmeagoth see that's the thing, I imagine it pays much better to be a Dr. in the US because it's PRIVATE practices that are paying for the most part, and our government is broke and doesn't pay shit i'm sure. healthcosts are so high here because when people DO have a government healthplan for the poor, they don't pay the bills. it's only private health insurance companies that pay the bills, and that's why most Drs. here only see patients with insurance. people don't realize this...

  • @peoplecallmeagoth alot of people in america WANT a public/government plan because healthcare is so expensive, but they don't realize a big reason why shit is so expensive here is because the government (medicaid, medicare, etc) isn't paying their bills. so I know our system sucks, but i'm not convinced socializing medicine is the answer here

  • @peoplecallmeagoth and I used to be on medicaid when i lived in pennsylvania and that's how i came to realize all this! there were barely any Drs i could see!

  • I learned something new :D

  • Canada has health care. America has sick care. I would really rather live in a country where i have the option to find out if there is something wrong rather than struggling to pay if/when something does.

  • @pookiekins90 Yeah, but they won't let her live here because of her pre-existing condition, since Canada is in the middle of a crises with the lack of doctors and such.

  • Nothing is ever truly free! "Free healthcare" is just really healthcare through taxation.

  • I'd marry an asian woman so she can get her green card.

  • I live in Norway and we have free health care. Of course we pay a lot of taxes and that totally sucks. The last couple of years i've been to the doctors maybe 1 or 2 times... but this year i fell and broke my wrist, found out that i have a cyst and that i have a stomach problem. So in times like these im VERY happy that we have the system we do or i would not be able to get things taken care of.

  • move to UK

  • I was not aware of this. =|

  • this makes me feel like crap to be a Canadian the frig :c

  • Barbados has free health care too !!!!

  • @SilverPerri Also, IT'S FRIGGING BARBADOS. That's two good things about it, right there.

@jessrlee88 As I believe Representative Alan Grayson once (actually, several times) said: "don't get sick".

  • hey justine! I really don't know about your healthsystem and i'm wondering if you can even get a health insurance that u pay on a monthly basis and if, how much is it and what does it include? i'm planning a trip to NY soon and the traveling ofice told me better not to become sick, because it is SO expensive to even get to SEE a doctor! I that true? I pay 80€ a month an seeing a doctor, x-ray, and bloodwork etc is free.

  • @LoudPrincessofChaos i apologize..normally i rule at spelling..it's just..i got cookie crumbs between my laptop keys the frig >:-C

  • @LoudPrincessofChaos i'm not familiar with non citizens seeing Drs, but I would recommend going to an emergency room (they can't refuse you) if you're really really injured or sick

  • @jpmetz Trust me, I've worked with ER nurses in my ER from the states. There are some ER's out there, particually in very expensive swavvy private hospitals that WILL deny you treatment. You can always judge a country by the way it treats it's people, and if you watch SiCKO, a documentary by Michael Moore, you will see what I mean by that.

  • @jpmetz thanks for the reply. I think becoming sick at a 5 day trip is unlikely to happen. but if it does, i'll go to the ER and show me superior german health insurance card. >.<

  • I really do have to say I'm so grateful to be Canadian for the health care, gay marriage, etc... but I'd sure love to be able to live in LA for my career and it's so hard to immigrate without the money!

  • @JoshRimer red shirt! LOL :) America is WAY behind the curve on gay marriage/healthcare its embarrassing.

  • I apologize for the asshats bragging about the Health Care we are blessed with, as well as the asshats who made the rule that you can't come into our country because you have MS. Not all Canadians are asses like that. I wish you could come to Canada, though. <3

  • you should come to kuwait every thing is FREE =D

  • I will run for Prime Minister of Canada just to get you in. Seriously, I live near the Parliament Buildings. I could do it.

  • Our healthcare may be "free", but we get absolutely raped by taxes and wait HOURS to see a damn doctor.

It's definitely nothing to brag about. Other countries have it way better.

  • Come to Australia!

  • i love you <3

  • mexico (: medicine and doctors here are cheaper!

  • Finland?

  • Yes we Canadians, pay for health care with our taxes, and you can have it "as needed" (provided you can afford it), but unless you're also psychic, you just can't predict when you'll need it.

But yes, there are always pros and cons. If people would stop breeding so darn much, gorging themselves on fast food to the point where they need to cart themselves around in a scooter, we wouldn't have to plan for our own future healthcare system full of diabetics by keeping you out.

  • Norway?
