Yeah, up until 1971 I think. Innocenti built cars under licence from BMC. The Fiat 500 was mainly responsible for the demise in scooter production. They priced it so that it didn't cost much more than a scooter and a family could fit in it. The Innocenti Mini was aimed at the Fiat 500 buyers and without this car, Innocenti probably wouldn't have survived very long at all despite having engineering and construction divisions. I love Lambrettas.
yeah 71,72 then india brought the rights for lambretta and start makeing then over there I think BMC give them the cars but they had to share the profit`s
The "A - series" engines in all Italian built Innocenti Mini's were originally shipped out from the UK to the Milan factory where they were fitted to the Italian built Minis.
