  • this a much different version then i saw originally on youtube. good job diggin' this up.

  • i saw the Troggs in 19'70 i think already . . in 3rd class discotheques near Rimini . . really sad . . 1

  • too bad this song didn't make the US charts. Our listeners didn't know what they were missing but if radio won't play it, then we're often screwed.

  • great song from this group

  • spookiest song. love it!

  • Leker duistere sound Altijd de beste gevonden van de troggs.

  • onbekend maar des te mooier,zo is er nog veel onondekte muziek,,

    staat bij mijn favorieten.

  • I love the eerie backing vocals on this song. And the video suitably creepy as well. And that enigmatic woman is stunning, even if she probably turned up on the cover of Black Sabbath's debut album.

  • @marcfedak Yeah...apart from The Stones',this must be one of the coolest 60's promos.

It's those eerie backing vocals, that give this track it's unique atmosphere. I liked it right away in '67,and duly bought it. Still don't know ,what the title means though. Might have been a take on 'Night Of The Long Knives",which refers generally, to acts of vengeance.

  • Wonderful :))
