TheBrownie8989 i would recommend the shimano beastmaster 9-11. its a great rod and on commercial carp waters its brilliant at 9 foot but for longer casting if your bream fishing or something put the 2 foot extention on. its a fantastic rod.
i dont know much about bloodworm and joker fishing but what i do know is that you need to use lean and i noticed you diddnt mention it. i heard if you dont put down a bed of lean the joker will die.
as its a club water as you mentioned its down to the commitee members to determine whos wanted and whos unwanted at the club .. you aint going to get many new members if you wont help advertise your club to people looking for a new club to join
