The thing with RPG's is that there are many versions designed for many different things. For example the one in this video is anti tank RPG rocket which does small explosion and has copper shooting through the tip penetrating the armor of the tank. The ones they show in MOVIES ARE ANTI INFANTRY RPG ROCKETS which explode producing huge/massive explosions and spraying shrapnel everywhere.
in CoD4 the rpg fires really slow. You see it far away and you have time to drink a tea before it reaches you, but with thi, you look at it and next second you are in hell thinking about what just happened.
is that accurate?? the cod thing it flies all around and curvy direction, i've seen it in afghanistan but i shot the guy holding it didn't have a chance to see it coming. My mouthy partners always yell at my ears saying "In Coming!!" "RPG! RPG! RPG!", hate those guys.
@kentawagi i think they are fairly accurate from left to right but they do drop alot. It took these guys 3 tries to hit it because the first time they aimed too low. I guess taliban might have cheaply made RPGs that go all over the place though.
I find it very hard to believe an army infantryman hasnt been properlly educated on his enemies weaponry
Call me pendantic if you will, but posing as a soldier is disgusting in any form. And with friends in the armed services and having watched countless footage of soldiers being able to identify enemy weaponry and understand them, it makes it tough to beleive that a soldier would admit to having had clear shots on RPG personell and then quote COD.
@isaciNZ: I take it that what you learned from RPGs apply perfectly well to other bazookas, i.e, you should aim slightly above your target. When you think about it, it goes against your instincts with other weapons, because recoil will tilt your aim up, especially in rapid semi auto or full auto fire, so it's logical to aim low. Also, bazookas and RPGs are a whole lot faster in real life than in games or in movies, you don't even have time to even glance at it before it blows you up!
@PurePwnge991 i lived in mongolia for 16 months when I was 12-13, it was pretty crazy and I saw some crazy shit, I might make a commentary about it this weekend once I get my HDPVR
