you have to beat story mode about 2 or 3 times and sho and orochi is just by chance i think

To unlock Sho and Orochi you have to never lose to them in Play #2 or higher.

if youve unlocked special then go to manas room and do the death borg battle i recommend death borg sigma 1 and 2. also death borg beta 2. oh and dont forget theta although i think you dont fight her in that battle.
