If you play all the intruments and sing it makes you a better drummer all around. The reason is because most platinum drummers I see always hit the overdrive when the fill session comes up even if nobody has rock power (doesn't save it). You will also know when to hit the overdrive during the parts of songs you know where more notes are played; 3 botton combos come on guitar or more notes on bass, and to wait for the singer to come back in. Remember rock together! The drummer controls it!!! :--)
