I'm starting to get really good at tenkaichi 2 even though I've failed all fighting games I've ever played, and it is thanks to your videos so thank you, so with ground and pound like you cancel your combo set with a dip, so is it like square square ex, square square ex ... ? :)
@Spooce199 Well thank you for the feedback man. Much appreciated. As for the G&P, it's Square Square R2. But you must be grounded and shorter than the opponent. The dip is only a key to understanding which combo set you are in. If you G&P through several cancels, you will still be in the first combo set. Once you dip into the second combo set, you'll want to keep G&Ping because if you finish the combo set, you can't dip again until the hit counter resets.
@bboydreamer96 Takes a bit of practice but it's all in the timing. 7 waves total, best way to practice: Go to practice mode, choose your character. Then choose GT. Saiyaman as opponent. Choose custom, add Halo and set logic to technical. He will spam rush attacks and his Super Explosive Wave.
@ZeroAnnihilated The only problem I (and many other people) have is that the constant rush attacks get annoying. But, I guess this is supposed to train you to be on your toes...
How do you actually do the teleport to avoid attacks? I can only do it when in one on one combat, I can't do it at any time like to avoid Ki blast attacks =/
@Spooce199 A regular ki blast (simply pressing Triangle) can not be teleported defensively. There is no timing for it. If you try to, you'll simply deflect them in a different direction. The only things to defensively teleport are Blast 2s, ultimate blasts and charged melee attacks. Offensive teleporting is pressing left/right/forward/back+Circle directly after tapping square. So as far as ki blasts go, you can block them, deflect them, blast through them or dash around them.
@SS4Gogeta4135 When the opponent charges a melee attack (holding square) or blasting you with a kamehameha (or others), performing a rush attack or in some cases a Super Explosive Wave, pressing O right before the attack hits you will allow the teleport. There are cases when some characters have a blast-1 that allows an automatic teleport before any attack hits you, but that's subject to the character. Manual defensive teleporting requires timing. So the button you press is O.
@DanteTheDamned I don't have quite the understanding of BT3 as I do for BT2. There are some advanced moves in BT3 as well, but I didn't come up with them. I'll have to do some homework before I can get into that. Very happy to hear you liked my tutorials though, especially since you were already good at the game.
ah well i understand BT3 is pretty advanced and last time i played have of these tricks couldnt even be used on BT3...and it turns out on the sliding...only short people can do...or mebbe i dont quite get it oh and i learned something more when testing that trick...it can be done in mid air too...if you were to jump then dash, decend, you can slide behind your opponent too!
especially great when u need to get infront of a downed oppoenent for an extra throw =). thought id share
@starpack1 Former? Better get a move on, lol. Well, you must be well aware that there is no way to actually do battle unless we met somewhere. That is a rare case due to location issues. I've done it before... but that was different. I'll message you details of how this can be settled.
hehe i use the step in all the time like you see in my video. it's a really great tatic for us champions;D best move in the video: the defense teleport on the ultimate explosion;d
Dude,YOU'RE AWESOME!I can only dodge a explosive wave by 4-5 hits and you dodged 'em all!Wow you're good!I OWNED OUR WHOLE CLASSROOM AND I THINK YOU'RE A GOOD CHALLENGE TO ME DUDE!HOPE WE MEET!
lol, I appreciate the comment man. If you want to get the super explosive wave dodge down, check out my 3rd tutorial. It explains the best way to practice for it. I'm always looking for new hooks in this game and ALWAYS looking for someone good to play. Hope we meet too.
