I remember watching it all unfold. I was just a freshmen sharing a room with Jeremy Bose in the room next store to these guise. I was mesmerized by the first mix. It was an exciting time for all of us CCM students. I think Jars of Clay made it feel like our dreams of being music stars were just within reach. To this day I am amazed at all the talent that God placed me smack in the middle of. I couldn't help but be influence in my own music writing by what they were doing back then.

as much as i love Fade to Grey on Much Afraid and Stringtown, i really love the Orgional version that appeared on the demo albim Frail, and is probably my second favorite song of theirs. second only to the Jars of Clay album version of Liquid.
