I am not sure if japan still does this now but it is hard to believe this really happens..it is truly unsafe. It is unfortunate though because they can't help it most of them. They absolutely have to get to their job and theres not enough land, space or time to wait for the next train. There are more ppl than they have trains

Another train will be there in a matter of minutes, but some of these people (maybe the girl in white) probably just didn't want to be in the MIDDLE of that crunching. Think about how densely populated Tokyo is before saying that the transportation system isn't that well established.
