  • people in the netherlands can speak 4 languages when they are 16 - 17 because we learn english french and german at school, im 13 and i can speak german english and a little bit french..

  • OMG i LOVE the song in the backround an with the moves its only cool

  • Bush said it best (or worst) - "we speak our own language in America". we Americans don't speak (proper) english most of the time. Usually we speak slang, and multiple dialects of slang, such as "Memegrish -- a combination of Engrish and "Lolcat". The Memegrish dialect is (it was decided Last Thursday) the most popular slang dialect in America today, which is why the Japanese hate America.

  • In switzerland it is normal to speak 3 languages by 16-18

  • why don't they use subtitles? no wonder no one can speak a word of english in france.

  • haha , so true :D ( or almost ... ) i m french and i have to agree with u , french ppl , even at 18years old or so , are used to faiiiiiiiil at english .... while some dutch etc. ppl can sometimes speak 3 languages at 16years old .. :/

  • germans and italians also, when your'e around 10 watching cartoons and movies in foreign languages really help you learn them. i was in france, germany, italy, austria and not so many people speak english (or other foreign languages).

  • yeah true that ... i lived like 15 years watching movies etc. in french like that youtube sample , now i'm downloading it in english , with english subs to practice:< btw french ppl are rly the worst ppl at talking english lol .. the german are way better , dunno about italy & austria

  • Speak to some young people in germany. Most of them speak english ;)

  • In Germany the english lessons start at the fith, in some parts at the fourth class. Most people in France avoid the english, because they dont want have anglicisms later.

  • they can,but they're being shovinistic about it...or so i've heard:/

    no insult intended.

  • its funny that a french actor has to be dubbed in french by another guy while speaking english lol

  • Good point! LOL

  • He is dubbed by himself ;)

  • Actually, he dubbed himself. ;)

  • thats even dumber

it creates a black hole in space, like dividing by 0

  • They had no other choice. No, in fact that was the best choice they could make. American or english spoken movies wiewed in France are all dubbed in french, Cassel was the proper man to dub Cassel, I think. :3

  • Vincent Cassel is a french speaker actor. He dub his movies but this is the version dubbed in Quebec. A lot of actor dub their proper voice in french (I think that Jodie Foster did it too)

  • V. Cassel is a french speaker actor... cause is French ! Well I don't know if this version was dubbed in Québec, but it's used in the french version of the film. And yes, Jodie Foster dub herself too.
