there are so many questions I'd like to ask but I was wondering what is your least favorite part of working on the ship and your fav. besides getting to see the world!

I have only been on carnival ships what is the best cruise line for the price and is there a way to get discounts or upgrades ...like maybe a window room for the price of a interior room?

I was just wondering about a few things,

1) What sorts of things do you need to bring from home when you come to work and what is optional to bring?

2) What sorts of expences do you have during a contract? How much money are you able to save out of every pay cheque?

3) Is it possible to still get a fair amount of exercise and eat healthy?

4) Are you ever allowed to go to any restraunts, buffets, shows, etc on the ship?

Do gay crew members have to pretend to be straight? I mean, do they have to substitute "girlfriend" for "boyfriend" (if they're guys) and the like?

why would anybody ever have to do that? If the cruise ship has a problem with you being gay, than it's their problem, not yours:)

Not the cruise ship, the other passengers. Like, when gay crew members are talking to pax, do they have to substitute "girlfriend" for "boyfriend", etc?
