But be of good cheer, there are many, many churches out there that are living the Gospel, serving Our Lord. I was attending a Bible study. First the leader tought the concept of territorial spirits. Then he taught generational curses. Then I was asked to write a story for our group newsletter. I rebuked the prosperity gospel. I was told by the leadership that my tone was too bold. This past month, the newsletter ran a pro-PG story by that leader. He said poor people are under a curse and Christians need to be rich. That was the last straw for me. I am finished with that Bible study.

Yes TFarache. This is DEFINITELY Hank's voice. I have listened to him for at LEAST 11years now, and was listening when he first released this powerful, eye-opening, jaw dropping series! The really hard part about death is that in the beginning God was not the designer of death. Not His original plan. Death of the body was a result of eating the fruit of the forbidden tree. God mourned the loss of His perfect creature, created to enjoy the Garden. Because He is just, He had to give consequences for disobedience. It was satan who authored death. Bodily death comes to gain eternal spiritual life that can be enjoyed with God in Paradise if we accept Jesus' gift.

Good point, MorganJServices. I have shared that with someone who lost a loved one... Death is the consequence of man's choice 2 sin; we were created with a free will, and man chose to disobey God. God never intended it to be that way, even though He knew it would turn OUT that way! He even provided the first sacrifice for sins when He used the animal skins to clothe Adam & Eve when they were driven out of the garden. With that same free will WE choose 2 accept or reject Jesus as Savior & Lord!

I agree there is human responsibility but 'free will' is not entirely what it is. It is God's will that he change our hearts towards him. Jeremiah (31:31-34) and Ezekiel (ch. 36, 37) makes it quite clear. Jonah's example also shows the respect to our choice. God will make everything so that it will glorify HIM. He is very self-centered and it is the best thing for humanity.

The Fall also glorified him - his righteousness, grace, mercy, love and holiness.

The false prophets talk of murdering others out of personal preference. Who is the thief mentioned in John 10:10 that only talks of stealing, killing and destroying? And Who is the ONE doing the warning of this thief?

John 10:27 says "My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow me." Jesus says He is the true Shepherd who lays His life down for the sheep. A hirling (fake shepherd) will abandon the flock to save his own skin.

Hank's voice is much higher than usual. His voice is deep. Maybe it's the transfer from one media medium to the other.

Hi Morgan, this series was made in 1993 so that would explain the change in voice. Its very applicable for modern day, particualrly since Word Faith 'godtv' promotes these people on a daily basis.

That makes sense. I did not know what year he actually wrote the book. You mean Hinn and Copeland have been in the sheep stealing business since 1993? My flesh was crawling when Bentley hit Florida to fleece Americans. He came from Toronto & knew what he was doing. I could not talk with anyone about discernment with God. GodTV flooded the airwaves singing Bentley's praise. Thankfully the Lord quickly exposed the sin.
