If you're worried about getting support for changing your eating habits you could go to a dietician. You would have to see her regularly and it would help you to stay on track, you would be able to ask questions and talk about any frustrations that you have. Everyone needs support. There are also loads of forums on the internet for dieting where you can meet people who are going through the same thing. It's hard to change habits at first but if you stick with it, it can change your life!take care
I sure know how you feel, I can totally understand what you are going through, like I said on facebook! watching this totally brings me back!! I am sorry that you are going through this, you will start to feel better, just do what you need to do, everything is going to be fine!
Amy my sweet doll. I have many a struggle with supply and breastfeeding is the number one MOST important thing for me. I have increased my water intake. First thing...it isn't your fault in ANYWAY! I was told to pump after ever feed for 15 minutes each side...even if I didn't get a drop. It was hard to see that but it did work. You know what I am going to make a video about this and my struggle just so as it may help you see that it doesn't have to be the end yet!!!
Oh Amy, I just want to give you a gigantic hug. I cried right along with you and I went through it 2 years ago. Just remember that your husband and all of us are 100% supportive of whatever happens. Once you're able to make the decision, it will feel like a huge huge weight lifted off your shoulders (but I'm sure you know that!) Keep your head up, we're all here for you. <3
I was literally making drops.. Like 7ml and there are 30 ml in an ounce! It was horrible! I cried so much but I did everything I could! My husband reassured me that I did the best I could and I helped them grow and be stronger. Any breast milk at all is better than nothing. I had supply issues from the beginning probably due to my pcos. I know how hard it is and how much you blame yourself but you did a great job! She is big and healthy because of you!
@crissyfab thank you so much!!!!! i couldnt imagine going through what you went through. makes me feel like my problem is nothing and im just being a big baby! its a hard thing when you cant provide the one free, most healthy thing for your baby! but formula is just as amazing, and im thankful for it. oh so thankful!
You can always talk to me if you ever need someone! I could only pump for 8 weeks and by the time I stopped I was literally pumping drops! I beat myself up about it and I cried so much. I also had the pressure from the NICU because they just push you into breast feeding and doing anything you can. My babies weren't even big enough to actually feed from me and my pump just wasn't doing the job anymore. I took reglan TWICE and of course fenugreek and so on. I did everything I could and by the end
You have done an amazing job! She has gotten 3 months of breast milk and that has done alot for her. You are in no way a failure. She is healthy and beautiful and that is what truly matters most. I am there for you any time you need to talk to someone. I have a facebook page I will try to find your page and send a friend request. You are a wonderful mother to those 2 precious babies.
@mommiesblessing5 ok and thank you so much! it is awsome she got 3 months of it. its jsut that we all want to go for as long as we can and if we cant, its like someone telling you your a bad mother!!
