yes it's true since no religion in USSR, divorce does not have stigma. But it's not American style.. where a fake wedding and then divorce 1-2yr later is nearly guaranteed. In Russia woman is almost equal, not like in Japan or China or Saudi Arabia where her life is being submissive and hiding her dissatisfaction. Every culture has positives and negatives. At least in Russia girls marry at age 19,20 so you can excuse them. Not like getting married at age 45 and still getting divorced later.
