I think that the thing about season two that got me was we were supposed to get some answers. There were answers, and then more questions.

@sagman68 oh no doubt, the 1st season was spectacular to say the least, by generic what i meant was, we were led to believe the island had some dinosaur like monster, or something like a beast, to me that seemed like a generic plot, but by the 2nd season, everything i was speculating was off the mark, the show was 2 steps ahead of me up until the finale, you cannot say the same about other shows of this gen. lost set the bar too high.

I don't know why, but a wave of memory and feeling washed over me today while sitting at my desk at work. It was "LOST", and the realization that it's been over a year since it ended. While very disappointed in the ending itself, the ride sure was great along the way. The absolute finest scene for me remains this one. Just watched it again for the first time in months, and am, as before, a blubbering mess. The glorious musical score by Michael Giacchino still bowls me over.
