  • Love this song and really enjoyed your explanation on how to play it right. Great job!!!!

  • @kdonovan512 You're welcome, glad I could help =)

  • @cjkeegan100 That is drop D, he's tuning his B note down two steps to make an A, then when he releases it its a D note open...MAGIC!

    thanks for the vid man!

  • @GODintheface88 oh yes of course. yeah your right im just so used to tuning the E to the open D. Sorry about that, shame on me cos that was an official dumb comment that i made.

  • @cjkeegan100 I was always under the impression that was Drop D. Sorry.

  • @PonyboyInNewZealand No need for sorry. I like lessons on you tube.

  • You the best but with tab is better :/

  • @DavidRobertJon3s Sorry I don't have tab for the whole song.

  • Great Instruction Ponyboy!

Have you ever thought about doing Robert Downey Jr. Impressions?

    You Bear a remarkable resemblance....Lol

  • @craiguitarz HA! That's nice of you to say. Never heard that before. I've been told I look like Tom Hanks more often than I can count. ;)

  • could I have the picking string order/tab as well please?

  • This is makes me want to grab a guitar and learn to play. I've obviously yet to try it, but I had to comment. Thank you for posting such a detailed breakdown so patiently. I'll get my hands on a guitar as soon as I can. :)

  • I need the tabs too. I listened to the song and made my own way to play it, but this one I would like to try. You went a little fast and I would like the tabs please. :)

  • @ipwnguitar97 I don't have tabs for the whole song - sorry!

  • Looks like you're going to teach me another Fleetwood song ponyboy. Thanks for posting these. Mind throwing that tab my way as well? Think I got the intro sounding right, but you never know. Sound great btw

  • I agree with everyone else. This sounds great and you're playing it perfectly. Just got back into playing guitar after a 10 year break, and would love the tab for the beginning part. Just cant seem to nail it! Hope you have time to email us all the tab, or maybe post it online for those that need it. You really have this song down!

  • @silinvhine Thanks, i've sent you a msg.

  • thanks been trying to figure this one for ages, and that little run before the verse

  • @bo440guitar You're welcome... there's a 2nd video for the other parts in the song in my channel. :)

  • Great lesson. I agree your the only one who seems to play it right. Which is why I need to ask if you could send a copy of that intro tab my way? I can't follow it just right in the video and have been trying to work it out by ear but just can't get it right. Your version sounds just like the real thing so I wanna make sure I'm playing it correctly. Thanks in advance.

  • could I get a copy of those intro tabs as well? I've been trying to see your finger pattern but its just too hard to tell. I've been playing it by ear but I can't seem to get it just right. Thanks a bunch man.

  • I am having the exact same prob. Could I possibly get those tabs in a email too? Thanks

  • @WaspyNick Just emailed you Nick. I promise once you get it, it's easy peasy ;-)

  • @PonyboyInNewZealand hi PBinNZ - you are very generous with your time and skills as teacher and your willingness to email tab - i think ive got in down- thanks to you- but id love to check for sure with your tab- if you'd email me too that would be extra awesome ( does my page show my email ad? - if not i'l post it online here if you want it). thanks anyways!!!

  • @PonyboyInNewZealand - ive also picked up pretty good ( i think ) the studio original version this morning also - do you intend to post that sometime? its quite different ( i prefer it too ) - i have no sheet music for this stuff and would like something authoritative to compare even though im reasonably confident with my own attempt

  • that was a great lesson and commentary, thanks. anyway you can comment on the opening picking pattern a tad more for? i've watched closely but still cant quite make it out. is it: 6, 2,4 3, hammer 5, 2, then 6, 4, repeat? thx,

  • @howzitbrada1time I will email you a line of guitar tab for the first little run and see if that helps!
