Why are we talking about communism...what exactly does that have to do with the video and the song? I'm American and I think this is a great video, and a great song aha.

What permanent base have we set up in a country post Korea? Our bases to fly into the middle east are in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, and Turkey. We didn't go to war with any of those countries. All bases we have in Iraq and Afghanistan are temporary.

They subsidized the free market and centralized state power, both doctrines diametrically opposed to socialism. It was a despotic regime, but it wasn't because of "communism" that the despoitc government took over, but instead because of the despotic government. Despotic governments can come anywhere.
