More proof the 93 World gymnastics Championships had the worst field in history bar none- no pun intended. Annia Hatch (well Portuondo way back then) in bar event finals at Worlds, ROTFL!!!

Why is she known as Annia Hatch now and Portuondo then?

Wow! Annia actually once made a World bars final. That amazes me. It was considered by far her weakest event in her time as an older U.S gymnast.

I know! I was surprised too.

I don't see how she should have been there. There were former soviets who didn't make the final and on their worst day they had better form and could put together a better routine than this. The form on her giants is embarassing, for a finalist.

I am very intriged that nobody ever mentioned she was a former World Bars finalist when she made the olympic team in 2004
