The setting wasn't in such planet mentioned in this trailer (Fury 161 and LV-426). Sega said the game will be set on an abandoned Weyland-Yutani colonized planet known as the Freyas Prospect.
Actually, it's not abandoned. At the E3 conference, it was said to be a predator inhabited planet; and on the display demo there were obvious signs of a predator presence. Apparently, then Weyland-Yutani came in and infested the planet with Xenomorphs to wipe out the predator population so that it could be colonized. I think that the marines were then sent in to clear the survivors out. That covers all 3 campaigns but only my first 3 sentences are solid evidence, so don't take my word for it.
Very true. There is a Pred-alien shown on the demo which is less than 20 minutes long. So my guess is we'll be fighting LOTS of them. And they look very tough. Unfortunately the demo doesn't show the fight with the hybrid so we'll have to sit and wait in anticipation to see the final result. I hope there is an Alien Queen fight much like the one at the end of the first AVP film. That would be awesome. I can't wait for the game. If you haven't already, you should search for the 18 minute E3 demo.
Not really, the Pred-alien in AVP-R had a yellow patch on it's chest and looked very strange. The one on the game looks very similar to a normal alien, but it stands upright, is very tall, has huge hands, has dreadlocks and has the predator mandible attached to its jaw. It looks like a tough boss and is seen ripping the head off a marine. Before you encounter it, 2 marines are found running away, whilst firing in its direction, tripping over themselves and screaming about a "monster".
UPDATE: There will be a fight with a Queen!!! Marine campaign! There is an achievement for defeating "The Matriarch"!!!

Sorry, I was mistaken. In AVP-R, most of the hybrid's body is yellow. In the game it is all black.
