  • What camera settings did you use? And which post editing program?

I have the same model, but I really can't get such a balanced pisture. My HS9 shots with much contrast and greens, whatever settings I make. So, would you share some hitns?

  • @ekzotica I have it set on auto mode with the regular settings. I sometimes use the intelligent contrast if it recommends it and I think it looks better on the screen. My videos go through Sony Vegas without any post-processing effects. Hope this helps you.

  • Nice video there. The HST tackled the incline better than I thought they would, speed wise.

    5*

  • @TheIdentCritic - Thanks, at least one person has some sense!

  • Lol its a doddle for those voyagers

  • nice video

are you sure its HD, or did you process it into it

  • No it was filmed in 1980x1080 and processed into 1280x720 for Youtube. Believe me, nothing annoys me more than people who upload 'HD' videos that are from non-HD sources.

  • my camcorder is HD

  • Umm OK, I wasn't having a go at you though.

  • fair enough, its just i thought you unsubscribed to me because you thought some of my videos wernt proper HD,

  • Oh no I would only do that if they were marked as HD.

  • I probably unsubbed because I thought you had stopped putting up videos but I can see you haven't so I'll re-sub.

  • oh ok, cheers for subscribing, I have returned

  • Deceiving isnt it? You think ur gonna get a decent video and then find out its converted as HD...

  • Annoying more like - I wish Youtube could do something about these jokers.

  • cool

  • Hey Hyperen, What's the linespeed?

    Great video! 5*

  • sorry got it wrong

  • whys there a one anglia there i didt thing they went up there

  • Good sound as well.

  • Nice one mate. that looks a lovely spot and you can hear 170 and the HST working hard up it in your video. you picked a good day to go there nice hot sunny day and oyu can see the heat waves when zoomed it showing a train in the distance. good work five stars

  • those 170's were realy struggling

  • Nice video! Wich camera do u use?

  • I have recently upgraded and now use a Panasonic HDC-HS9.

  • So u got pretty much the same camcorder as me but with the Hard Drive added! They say the picture quality isnt as good as something like Canon, but sound wise u have to admit, as long as u dont get too much wind pressure, its awesome!

  • Yeah it's pretty good so far, I'm sure there are camcorders with better picture quality out there but at the end of the day I'm not in a position to spend anymore than I did (£250).

And I do love the sound - a big step up from my Canon A560 camera!

  • nice video good spot 5*

  • 5* Awesome, Great Spot, and at the bottom of the incline is Bromsgrove Station my home town station

  • Thanks for the comment - you're lucky to live so close to the Lickey Incline - I was totally worn out after an hours walk each way from Barnt Green along scary country roads with no pavements!

  • awesome
