Unnecessary swearing is a dead giveaway for bad scriptwriting. Just say "smells terrible" or "smells like crap", it's a bit early in the game to use strong language.
Also: I know it's supposed to be a spoof of crummy RPG Maker games and the RPG Maker 2000 engine in general, but we already have Jay's Journey to cover the latter department.
